This guy won't have to worry about being the
smartest inmate at whatever prison they send
him to.

Maybe he is just not waiting for the coming inflation due to the Feds severan Q-X easing programs?

Might be hard to make a charge stick. There is no million dollar bill and never was in USD. So there cannot be a counterfitting charge. Fraud a little murkier, again thought there is no insturment being faked.

Good guess is he will plead to something minor and accept a lifetime of being 86ed from their stores.

Did it have a picture of the Cherokee chief on it? All he has to say is that he got it at the casino and he'll be sent to rehab.

Several years back a cashier or two took a $200 bill and even made change for it.

You have to wonder how they get home without getting lost every night.

If the guy presented a $1,000 banknote and insisted it was real, I should think that the store would be required by law to call the police even if they thought he was nuts. There are still roughly 165K of $1,000 bills (worth $165M) in general circulation, but most people are not going to spend them in the WALMART.

But seriously why can store security escort a guy out of the store trying to pay with a million dollar bill? Why would something that dumb have to be handled via official channels?

Big companies take few chances of being sued. WMT has targets on their back from trial lawyers and a big part of the political establishment alike. They check the policies and procedures before using the bathroom.

Most of them are in private collections or
in grandmas drawer. They're worth more
than $1000. Even one in average condition
can bring $1500. The good ones bring
2500-3000. Look on Ebay, there's always
a bunch for sale. If a bank gets one, they
have to turn it over to the gov't. I had a
few 10 years ago, and a $500. They are
very cool.

I think they normally would. But if he kept insisting it was real and refused to leave, the might have been forced to call the police.
