How long was your longest single gambling session? For the purposes of this poll, let's consider a session, "continuous play at one game, excluding bathroom and/or smoke breaks". E.g., If you left the table for a meal, that would constitute the end of the current session.

Barbary Coast: Sat down at a $5 Pai-Gow table at 2pm with $100. Cashed out 16 hours later at 6am for $100 and free breakfast.

I think you should remove poker from contention...many poker players play 24+ hours without much food or sleep. I had one buddy who checked into his hotel and played for 39 hours before finally sleeping. I think he said he lost 7 or 8 pounds at the table.

I voted 10 hours. MGM Grand, $15 blackjack table, cashed in for $200 around 1:30AM, cashed out for $800 (plus 4 dinner buffets comped by pit boss) a little before noon when my buddies came to get me to go to the pool. I was really drunk, so I'm sure I could have had a few grand if I had been betting "appropriately" but I know the dealers loved me b/c I was tipping them well.

My longest session was about 13 hours playing $2-6 spread limit at the Colorado Belle in Laughlin last November. I was attempting to beat my previous record of about 10-11 hours. I finished ahead by about $200. The session started at around noon or 1pm and ended at around 4am the next morning. I did leave the table to eat a quick meal at around midnight, but I left my chips on the table and I was only gone 20-30 minutes.

Probably at Horseshoe Southern Indiana when a buddy and I played the piss out of 9/6 JOB video poker when I had a 25x multiplier. About 5 hours, give or take.

Ceasars Palace. Pai Gow Poker. Started about 11:30 PM and finally left the table around 6:30 AM. Started with $300 and cashed out $4900! I really wanted that chocolate chip, but I chased it for over an hour and finally gave up. I've won more on slot machines, but this was, by far, my best and longest session at any card game.

I voted 10+ hours. I think it was more like 12 hours. Poker at the Sands, PA. Note that many poker rooms allow you to eat at the table, and even had waitress service.

If we eliminate poker, then I guess it was closer to 3 hours.

seviay was right about poker. I put in 40 hours once (minus a one hour dinner break somewhere in the middle) as I was on a heater and the more I colored up the more I kept winning. I was at a $1-$2 table that had a max buy-in of $200 and I left with $3,700. One drunk after another would buy in and dump their stack. It was a good shift.

I voted 10+ hours here are my records

Poker is the easiest to grind hours away. I have hand a 27 hour session before, with only bathroom breaks and smoke breaks. Although it pretty easy to eat at the table in most poker rooms

Pia Gow would be second and I think the second easiest to grind hours away in a casino, My record is 14 hours at the Orleans

Craps 10+ hours at Binions

BJ 7+ hours at MGM
