A Poster said something like," The expensive luxurious fashion and beauty hauls that Influencers are doing is the equivalent of them buying an expensive cure for cancer when they don't have Cancer, buying the expensive cure for Cancer JUST because they can afford it and saying stuff like,"I just bought this cute $50,000 vial of the cure for Cancer just for fun and people who actually HAVE Cancer and can't afford to buy the expensive cure for Cancer get PISSED that the Influencers are buying expensive cure for Cancer that they don't NEED just because they can afford it while the average Joe who actually has Cancer NEEDS that expensive cure for Cancer and can't afford it.
Content Creators are different. Content Creators are people who portray the average Joe and Jane's lives such as not wanting to equally split a $5,000 meal at a high end Restaurant when they had a soda, mozzarella cheese appetizer, a burger, and a plate of fries for say roughly $40 and the majority of their dining party had ribeye steaks with jasmine rice, lobster and steak on top of focaccia bread with extra virgin olive oil, whole lobster with fettuccine Alfredo with Italian butter, multiple wine drinks, and a dessert of a quadruple chocolate cake with a triple vanilla ice cream like Tahitian vanilla, Madagascar vanilla, and Mexican vanilla and expect the person who had the roughly $40 meal to subsidy their say a roughly $250 meal! 😱😳 A LOT of people can relate to the person who had the roughly $40 meal not wanting to subsidy a roughly $250 meal. The average Joe and Jane can't afford a $50,000 beauty and fashion haul in a RECESSION.
A Content Creator said something like, "Our household is a FOUR INCOME household and we are STILL struggling hard to buy basic necessities such as gas, phone bills, electricity, clothing, food, water, healthcare, toiletries, etc. When I was a child, my Father was the ONLY one working and we lived an EXTREMELY comfortable life on his SINGLE income. Tell me why I as an Adult am struggling when me and my husband have two full time jobs each for four incomes when I as a child lived EXTREMELY comfortable with my father's single income?
Even Influencers themselves have admitted they are losing followers FAST. Jacklyn Hill is a prime example. She started off as a relatable Content Creator, started off with relatable Content such as locking her car keys in the car by accident and having to pay a locksmith a lot of money to get her car open to doing expensive and luxurious fashion hauls. She admitted she lost a lot of followers and mentioned being confused on why she's losing followers. Posters responded something like,"Because your single luxurious and expensive fashion and beauty haul was more than my entire salary for two years! We are in a RECESSION and don't want to see your expensive and luxurious fashion and beauty hauls!"

One example I can think of was an episode of Glee. Early in the episode was a PSA about texting while driving. After the episode, somebody posted on a chat site, "I didn't realize - I'll never text and drive again!" Was it because of the PSA? No; that was waved off as "refer madness" - it was because, at the end of the episode, a character was texting while driving and got hit by another car.
they are constantly in the new for their demise

Every time one of them dies (about every day) I actually don’t ever know who they are without reading the story.
Yet the few I do know haven’t died.

Spend a few hours a day on TikTok and YouTube, and the algorithms will introduce you.
Furthermore, no one consciously chooses something or goes somewhere to be influenced. It's coincidental when someone ends up being influenced.
Quote: ChumpChangeI got sick of The Kardashians before I ever kept up with them, yet everybody watched them for the longest time. A lot of influencers buy the Kylie cosmetics line so they look shockingly similar to their fave Kardashian. If you are sick of the Kardashians already, wouldn't you be sick of this influencer doing Kylie cosmetics?

Sorry, when I was talking about Influencers I was actually thinking only about Social Media influencers such as Jacklyn Hill, not Reality TV Stars like The Kardashians. 💡 I'm pretty sure that The Kardashians are actually an Empire not an Influencer Dad thing. 💡🤔
Quote: NathanInfluencers seem to be on borrowed time and a LOT of people are pointing out that they are currently SICK of Influencers and a LOT of people are now turning to Content Creators who are actually relatable. Influencers are people who do stuff like,"Look at my expensive luxurious fashion and beauty haul that I bought for $50,000!" When we are in a RECESSION.
When people stop complaining then you will find they die away. As long as people are complaining they are getting engagement signals which encourages marketing companies to use them..

I just looked it up and 85% of Internet influencers are women. 90% of them do not last 6 months but because they are constantly being replaced with new influencers not many people notice this. If you can stay around for a year you usually have something worth sharing which means 90% of them don't.
