With MDawg basically bumping his own thread with each trip report this suggested move would be a "gesture" only and have no real affect on the forum or the threads exposure

yes; I proposed something like this a while back and you seconded it
but I don't believe it has any chance of happening
the management here is not receptive to suggestions and they generally don't even respond
or if the management does respond it's to tell you why you're wrong and why they're right
it's basically a 𝙢𝙮 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙬𝙖𝙮 kind of place
in fairness to the management here - all the forums I've participated in follow this formula - not just this place
