Hypocrite pushing the blame on others. Having businesses hold smokers to the same restrictions as non smokers and there would at least be a good number fewer cases.

Yep. This is why I have absolutely no use for this guy. He gets up on his soap box screaming ďwear your damn maskĒ all day, everyday....but then writes an exemption for casino smokers to puff away with the mask hanging off their chin.

I get the mandate. I mask up all the time. When I see someone puffing his brains out on an 8Ē macanudo...mask down, I have no problem telling Governor Sisolak f.u. hypocrite.

He knows it should be banned during this pandemic fight. Itís money. Heís scared. I also get that. HE has to reconcile that while he tells non smokers ďput on your damn mask and keep it upĒ....I donít have to reconcile it. I already put it up.

Better go hide at home again!

But, why is this happening if masks work so well??

Alex Azar, what is his title health and human services I think, was just on CNN and had some astonishing things to say. This just happened minutes ago, so I haven't been able to find a link to share yet, but hopefully there will be one soon. So Azar, obviously appointed by Trump and one of those guys that has shared and repeated Trump claims had some interesting things to say. #1. he references a study by CDC proving that two people standing 1 meter apart (that is about 3 feet right), if both are wearing a mask, it reduces transmission 70%. Doesn't eliminate it, but reduces by more than 2/3's. This is our government, Trump's government saying this.

The second thing I found pretty amazing is Azar just said, certain behaviors and the example he used was eating out in restaurant's and bars increase transmission of this virus. Alex Azar said this! I promise you I will get the link as soon as CNN puts it up. Look the election is over. Trump long ago gave up on this virus, long ago gave up on science and math because he thought it was better for his re-election chance. That election is over. Let's get back to math and science and reality. And common sense!

Nobody says you have to hide at home. I am not in favor of a second shutdown, but you have to minimize situations that are riskier, like bars and restaurant's and I dare say casinos. I ended my blackjack play for the year several weeks ago and THAT is my livelihood!

The end to this thing is in sight! Just a little common sense and minimizing the riskiest situations and we can ALL get there.

This isn't the end, nor even the beginning of the end, but it might be the end of the beginning.

I'm just a few weeks away from Vegas
Have my bicycle with me
If the strip is closed, it makes a wonderful bike trail
Looking forward to a visit regardless

I live here. Iím amazed at people who want to come here with the current situation. Even if there isnít a fear of covid...the entire experience has taken a big hit. No shows, many venues operating at reduced capacity or not open at all, the mask mandate, plexiglass as far as the eye can see. Compounded by getting on a human covid transport now known as airline travel. Unless someone decides to get out of Vegas...national parks or scenic excursions, IMO, the Vegas experience right now is in the toilet. Have fun though. Maybe if I was a pure gambler and didnít give a hoot about the rest...I could see it. Then again, almost all 50 states have local gambling.

I gotta live somewhere.
RVing all over the country
Why not live in Vegas for a week or 2
A lot to see safely
Red Rock canyon
Lion habitat
Neon museum
Mount Charleston
Freemont st experience
Springs preserve
Riding my bike on the strip if closed
Gotta be a lot of local bike trails
Don't see any reason why not to visit
If I can survive virus overrun El Paso and Amarillo, I should be fine

The D has been checking temperatures and Id's since they reopened in June and now have stopped, so everything must be A-ok despite the increased numbers in the news. Lol.

Ah, RV. OK. Enjoy. Based on your list, I could see coming here. Red Rock Canyon, afaik, is now requiring reservations to get in.
