I would say the vaccine companies did a pretty good job of doing damage to the perceived safety of vaccines themselves

That's quite common. Side effects are rare but can happen. In the above trials I believe all were found to be unrelated to the vaccine. When testing large groups of people someone is bound to develop an illness unrelated to the vaccine. When this happens, the company stops the trial to investigate and then resumes the trials once it's determined that the illness is unrelated to the vaccine.

I'm shocked that you didn't already know this. Why is that?

If you're an antivaxxer then I'm not going to even bother trying to explaining why vaccines are generally safe. But please at least accept that the world isn't flat. I will say this...if you ever get bitten by what you believe to have been a rabid animal, then at least trust the experts when they say to get the rabies vaccine. Don't try to treat it using a "holistic approach".

You canít tell somebody anything if they already know everything.

Exactly, (...take sensible precautions...) which is pretty much what Florida has done, unlike NY where the number of deaths from the virus have been sky high!

We are yet to see whether or not to praise Florida for what it has done.

True, so far, so good. However, C-virus cases are increasing, as experts told us to expect. Yesterday's positivity rate for first-time tests was 30 percent, so there's plenty of C-virus out there.

I hope Florida continues to navigate a (reasonably) stable path through the C-virus minefield. But, Florida -- like many other states -- may get a very unpleasant surprise between now and the end of the year. Ummm... if you smell smoke, it may be too late to take precautions.

Hypocrite pushing the blame on others. Having businesses hold smokers to the same restrictions as non smokers and there would at least be a good number fewer cases.

Seriously, why would it be a good idea to allow the smokers to attempt to kill us in more ways than one? One was already too many...

Better go hide at home again!

But, why is this happening if masks work so well??

Casinos are breeding grounds for Covid-19 but shutting them down again in Nevada would pretty much finish this state off. Masks are required but you are allowed to take them down when you drink or smoke. People get thirsty, so makes sense to allow people to drink. Smoking is a secondary thing, they can ban smoking in the Casinos to limit the guests from lowering their masks. They can always go outside and take a smoke break.

I don't need to hide at home.

I live in NYC where masks wearing is the law

I know a number of people who are strict about wearing masks and washing hands when coming from outdoors. They will chastise anyone they see who doesn't use common sense precautions.

These same people get together with their buddies, light up weed, pass the blunt around each person taking a pull (same blunt, different moist lips) and they pass the alcohol bottle around taking a swig.

(That sounds worse than it seems. These people aren't drunk hobos but definitely enjoy getting high)

My point is I am quite certain most people are wearing masks properly but doing dumb stuff that negates all the mask usage.

Does that mean masks don't work? Of course they work. But people do dumb stuff!
