counting all segments, I’ve probably done about 20 segments with SWA. With no middle seating and by myself, often had a row to myself. Been in close to 15 casinos including the dreaded Cosmopolitan craps table. Feel safe with a mask on, but do play usually at off hours. Just common sense keeps you safe.Quote: mcallister3200Seating is definitely airline by airline, I think southwest and delta are leaving middle open while American is most definitely filling every seat they can now, I made the mistake of my one and only time flying post pandemic so far post pandemic being American and there wasn’t an empty seat on the plane, I think this was September. They do all have the near constant flow of outside air clouds now which is a noticeable difference. Overall it’s probably safer than people think compared with most other indoor activities.

I think I read that Southwest is opening up all seats again. I was on American and Delta this week and they were using middle seats. Gary Kelly was on CNBC talking about it.

False.
You're not truly safe unless you're inside an RV inside Taiwan

No need to mock him. He is happy and it isn't affecting us. I am personally going to bars and restaurants daily because I think they will be closing shortly.
Quote: AZDuffmanYou seem to be coming around to the common sense position.
I worked a party last weekend with the condition I did not have to wear a mask. Nobody there had one, everyone enjoyed themselves. More and more people are realizing there is only so much you can do.
Seriously? I'm looking forward to your announcement you have covid-19. Just hope you don't die from it. It's ignorant selfish people like you that made this virus last as long as it had in the US and around the world. The simplest thing ever is to wear a mask and wash with regular soap and stay some distant from strangers and that's too much trouble and inconvenience for you?
And you sound like you wouldn't admit it if you got covid. And no, nothing you said was even close to a common sense position. Your position is one of abject ignorance.
It's not about you, it's about protecting other people even more. Good God.
You inconsiderate selfish fool.

Got flights next week. Will put me over the top into A List. Guaranteed aisle going forward. People generally want to sit up front. So go to the back, grab an aisle seat and wait. Worst that can happen on a non sold out flight is a companion grabbing the window. Common sense.

Thank you for the multiple personal insults in one post.

No need to be snarky.
I'm just jealous of my relatives
I see all their posts on Facebook
They are living normal lives in Taiwan
Going to restaurants, seeing concerts, having gatherings
That the way life should be. Going out and not having to worry about a virus
Taiwan's economy grew this year
I recently walked Main st Bisbee. Half the business closed due to the virus.
I'm travelling a ton and it sucks that 1/2 the stuff I want to see is closed
Wanted to play pinball in Tucson yesterday. Largest pinball arcade in the state. Closed permanently due to the virus
Totally sucks because it does not have to be like this
I feel like I am living in a 3rd world country when I see my relatives FB posts
You have a heart attack , in Taiwan, plenty of room in the hospitals
You have a heart attack in El Paso, the hospital is filled, you get put in a parking lot tent
They used to live in the USA. Totally shocked whats going on here
Taiwan was one of the 1st places hit. They had flights from Wuhan
We had a lot more warning then Taiwan
Disregarding the pandemic: Never be jealous of anything someone posts on fakebook. I have many examples of people I know who go out of their way to post about how great their life is, all the wonderful stuff they are doing and how successful they are, meanwhile they owe me money or they are asking to borrow some, all while telling me(or I know) just how terrible things are actually going in their trainwreck of a life, and not just financial stuff either.Quote: terapinedNo need to be snarky.

Can you spot me 20 bucks, Axel? :)

This, yeah. +10!
How in the hell did the worst pandemic in 100 years turn into a political issue and political divide? Unbelievable! This is one thing we should all be on the same side on.
