My girlfriend at Ground Zero Washington has now collected 32 recovered people (including herself) to repeatedly donate blood and participate in the studies on developing treatment and vaccines. They're starting 2 new studies tomorrow, though she's already involved in 3 others .

The first person to congratulate her is my friend who is leading the US Military investigation team at their virus lab. She calls her a welcome miracle. I call her a Godsend.

I have great friends.

My sister and her family have likely all had it, with my sister being last. She texted last night that she just lost her sense of taste and smell. She had a fever the day before. Her husband and 3 sons have all had a variety of similar symptoms over the past two weeks. I told my sister she needs to be tested, and she asked why? I told her that if she is positive she and her family absolutely shouldn't go to the supermarket, gas station, etc. Also... I told them they would be able to help by being antibody donors like your friends. She is going to be tested today. I am very happy for them that they all seemed to have mild cases.

I think that is the link to an article about one of my partners and my hospital. It would be me had I not retired in September.

I posted it somewhere last Thursday or so, since then we have a definite trend to wanting to open back up for business. It seems this will be the news this week, when and how.

May 1 is looking like an ideal date. Question is will it be in phases and will any states want to stay closed? Other question is how do the big casinos open? At the least they have to order a lot of food if their restaurants are to open. I think maybe you see them open in phases over a week maybe two.

My guess is they will phase it in over one week.

You are probably right, two at the outside. They will all lose some employees for one reason or another. Over a month they probably have 3-5% turnover no matter what. Dealers will be rusty. Nothing to bet at the sportsbook at the moment (cricket is not something to bet on, either.)

I predict Oklahoma will stay closed well past May 1st. Our peak isn't even projected until April 25th or 26th. I think there'll be some phased openings starting May 15th at the absolute earliest, with the majority of the State opening back up in June.

Now this may result in a lawsuit against the state

https://abcnews.go.com/US/philadelphia-police-drag-man-mask-off-public-bus/story?id=70104383

No arrest or crime. Police dragged a man off a city bus for not wearing a mask.

Septa had initiated a policy that masks must be worn at all times due to the pandemic

The outcry has caused them to eliminate that policy

The article states the bus driver called police because the passenger was unruly. Was he unruly and not wearing a mask, or was his not wearing a mask what made him unruly? Based on his behaviour in the video, I have no idea.
