I left my Player's Card in while I went to go get change. When I came back, some guy was inadvertently playing heavily on my card. I decided to let him inadvertently give me free points and walked away. For some reason, when I checked my Points after he lost his money and left, I only had like one extra point. Shouldn't I have gotten a lot of points from what he did? I should add that I had asked Player's Club for an extra card and they pointed out I actively had a card in a machine. They gave me my extra card and I am wondering if Player's Club did something so that I wouldn't earn extra points or something. The amount of play he was doing should have been enough for me to get a lot of points and free play. Baffled on how I only got one extra point.

you don't say where this took place or what computer system it was. IF you had let him play without alerting anyone you surely would have received points for HIS action but often there is a time lag in computer systems.

Are you sure he didn't take your card out, put his card in, then switched them back when he was done thinking the owner would come back looking for it?

It's certainly possible (in fact likely) they deactivated the card in the machine from making points once you alerted them. They knew it wasn't you. Bad move.
