God bless us, every one, and may you experience your own Christmas magic.
I just voted for the 'What fire alarm? Shut up and Deal' option. Hoping you all have such passion and ability to concentrate!Quote: scolistHappy Holidays Everyone!!
Here is a picture of me taken last week at the M casino. I have never seen a nativity scene in a casino before.

Just to stay on brand, they should have had a scene of the Romans casting lots.
With the spirit of the season, which is peace,
The gladness of the season, which is hope
And the heart of the season, which is love.
May you never forget what is worth remembering
Or remember what is best forgotten.

*For me it's the lighter nights following the Solstice.
Yes! At my location, we had 7 seconds more daylight today than yesterday, while yesterday had 3 seconds more than the day before. Ain't it great to have longer days?!?Quote: OnceDearFor me it's the lighter nights following the Solstice.

George Costanza's character really cracked me up, he was so funny. I saw a movie recently, from 2009, where he was in it with Richard Gere, called Hachi: A Dog's Tale. "George" wasn't george at all, it was a serious role, and the movie a tear jerker if you like dogs. Jason Alexander is very talented.

He was also in Pretty Woman with Richard Gere
me on this. Humbug means a fraud,
a fake. In the Wizard of Oz book,
Scarecrow frequently refers to the
Wizard as 'a humbug'. Scrooge,
by saying bah humbug is implying that
Christmas is a fraud. Which of course it
is in every sense. We know for a fact that
Jesus was not born in Bethlehem, and
there's a 90% chance he was born in the
spring during the Pagan celebration of
the winter solstice. But we celebrate anyway.
Why are people always against the commercialization
of Christmas. When I was a kid that's all I knew of
Christmas was Santa and presents. Without
commercialization there would have been no
Christmas. I knew about the religious aspects,
but I always thought it was a fairytale, like the
Easter Bunny or Paul Bunyan. I didn't know people
actually thought it was true.
Maybe, don't turn your clocks back in the fall? Or, ask yourself the reason that this matters to you so much. Something wrong, somewhere.Quote: DocYes! when you have a two hour drive to and from work, each day, you treasure the increasing daylight. Nothing to do with Daylight saving adjustment.Quote: G2Maybe, don't turn your clocks back in the fall? Or, ask yourself the reason that this matters to you so much. Something wrong, somewhere.
"We all know that too much sun can cause cancer, but even a lack of sunlight has been linked to certain cancers. Vitamin D deficiencies can lead to the development of prostate and breast cancer, memory loss, and an increased risk for developing dementia and schizophrenia."

Meanwhile up here we were told leaving my fiancè's parent's house that the roads were icy and things are gonna get worse in the next few days. Thanks, climate change.
Just another example of how certain people are right about Global Warming.
We had a trace of snow in Tampa today just 30 years ago.
Today it’s 80.
At this rate, the world only has a few years left, if that.
Smart people are selling everything and living for today.
Like certain people say, it’s too late.

Till we are all enjoying the benefits of
global warming? Hallelujah! Bring It On
Please don't let's go from celebrating the holidays to arguing the truth or merits of climate change.Quote: EvenBobTill we are all enjoying the benefits of

I believe in science, medicine and math. I believe we might have some global warming going on, I just don't believe it's man-made as much as they want us to believe. Whatever the case, as long as I got me some good air conditioning, I'm good.Quote: OnceDearPlease don't let's go from celebrating the holidays to arguing the truth or merits of climate change.

Global Warming is on Christmas vacation out here. The Grapevine to Los Angeles and Hwy 58 to Vegas are completely shut down due to heavy snow from last night.
Heading to Vegas to pick up some suits of armor.
Currently, global warming is (and has been for the past couple years) about 28% due to a very slight aberation in the Earth's orbit about the sun, and most of the other 72% is due to deforestation and fossil fuels.
As the Earth's orbit swings back the other way the 28% will be come 0% and then - 28%. So there is a natural oscillatory component.
