I’m amazed that I’ve never seen casino gift cards that are exchangeable for slot play or chips.

Do they exist? If not I imagine there is some kind of law prohibiting them?

An interesting concept

I wonder what would happen if you had been excluded from the slots club promo program for prior abuse (taking freeplay without additional wagering) would the casino refuse to honor the gift cards?

I was recently refused even my "guaranteed" bus bonus from a casino regardless of my paying the bus ticket and being promised the offer

Wonder how that situation would go down
For Whom the bus tolls; The bus tolls for thee

I’ve seen casinos giveaway gift cards based on play from popular businesses. I got $60 worth in $10 increments for Scheels, a sporting goods store last month from the Nuggett in Sparks.

Locally (Indian) you could use points or cash for gift cards good at any food place, gift shop or Bingo. Maybe because they (Bingo) have the ability to do a card swipe transaction when you buy in. Maybe legality.

I did receive an email from the Atlantis casino in Reno that you could purchase gift cards to be used at the resort for dining, spa or hotel rooms. Not for gaming chips though, realistically slot or chips, for the average person, it’s not going to last or get them very far.

Yes, they have them for Food/Spa/Shopping, but I have never seen for gaming.

I imagine if they existed you’d have to pay cash for a variety of reasons.

If I ever get caught using a friends free play, I'm just going to say, we thought it was a gift card.

Borgata gift cards can be bought online and loaded as slot play on your card. I’ve done it a few times awhile ago. Each ecard is a max of $150 and there is a $1 fee. You can load up to $500 a day on your card but you have to do it at the players club. It’s not really something that you can do in high volume.
