USA Today is holding a Best Casino Hotel in the U.S. contest. Scroll down to the “Experts” section and check out this forum’s very own Michael Shackleford’s bio.

It seems like a contradiction. The contest is "Best Casino" while the voting asks for your "Favorite Casino".

In my case those are completely different.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

The best hotel might not necessarily be attached to the best casino.

Also, how do you quantify the "best", for either? A casino that offers 3;2 and not 6:5, 3x4x5 or 100X on craps and/or so-so rooms vs. nicer ones for similar prices. It's a 2 part question and a hard call.

These things with public votes are popularity contests, not a real judgment of the "best"...

Hell, Taco bell was just named "Best Mexican Restaurant Brand in US"...
