Given the seething discontentment expressed by some about the way things have been going around here, this might be a good time to bring up the following topic:

Should members be allowed to vote whether another member should be nuked?

No. I think the moderators would take the starting of such a poll as a personal insult to the potential 'nukee'.

Yes, but whomever proposes the topic, either the person they want nuked gets nuked, or they do. This would limit the spamming abuse of the power.

i.e. if I voted Z gets nuked. Then we have a vote, and either Z does get nuked, or I do.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

If this were a democracy, yeah, maybe we could have death cage matches. But it's not.
