Quote: WizardThat article looks like a joke to me. I personally hope to not see a sequel as it could never do justice to the original. Much like there shouldn't be a Gone with the Wind or Citizen Cane sequel.
Lmao. All those movies are in the same league. I personally think it's been way overdue for Titanic 2. Lolz. Might actually be a good comedy.

Aww I hope not. The interview does seem odd but still I hope it wasn't a joke.
Your sugar must be dropping. Hurry up and Pepsi yourself before you slip into a coma. That site is so obviously satire/fake news. 120 million dollars as a budget would be about 80-100 million more than necessary for a poker movie. Look at the links to other stories, North Korea wants to host WSOP tournament, etc. Plus why would Matt Damon give an exclusive interview to this website? So funny you fell for this, I'll be looking out for a hobo bag with you next time at Rivers.Quote: GWAEAww I hope not. The interview does seem odd but still I hope it wasn't a joke.
Btw, I can't find my email from the Nigerian prince. Does anyone have his contact info so I can get my money?
I can't believe you fell for that. Hell, that Nigerian Prince has better writing skills than the author of that "article."Quote: GWAEHahaha I suck. Thread should be deleted to keep me from future embarrassment. I never looked past the one article. I just went to their home page and saw the other articles..

Today it would be about a group of autistic, Swedish teens colluding online.
Coming soon.

I was blinded by hopeless optimism. I even read out loud to my wife the part about it costing 20 mil to make Damon look younger.

Sorry there's no sequel for your favorite gaming movie, but many thanx for pointing out the site. I really enjoyed this (fake news) article, where Phil Hellmuth finds out he is not the center of the universe:
Phil Hellmuth rushed to hospital
Of course, no made-up, fake-news story can compete with reality when it comes to Phil Hellmuth:
Top 5 Phil Hellmuth Meltdowns
But, credit to Phil for (as far as I can tell) successfully controlling his runaway temper over the last several years. The poker world needs him to be the successful champion he is (ala Doyle Brunson), rather than as a really good "bad example."

Omg GWAE are you serious with this thread? Lolol

The most disappointing thing for me was finding out that after winning a 25-cent tournament, one can't go onto the WSOP events. At 25-cents, Fleastiff, could do small blinds but not big blinds. Now that I've learned it was some sort of parody hype, I'm without hope.
Probably my favorite actor. I've read that he is super difficult to work with, which may explain why he doesn't get many roles nowadays.
Quote: gamerfreakI wish Edward Norton was in more movies.

Hes apparently so difficult they replaced him as hulk after the first film in a Marvel Cinematic universe that has steadfastly kept all the major actors the same for continuity

This was Marvel's statement:
Quote:“We have made the decision to not bring Ed Norton back to portray the title role of Bruce Banner in the Avengers. Our decision is definitely not one based on monetary factors, but instead rooted in the need for an actor who embodies the creativity and collaborative spirit of our other talented cast members. The Avengers demands players who thrive working as part of an ensemble, as evidenced by Robert, Chris H, Chris E, Sam, Scarlett, and all of our talented casts. We are looking to announce a name actor who fulfills these requirements, and is passionate about the iconic role in the coming weeks."
Seesh....they didn't even throw in the usual PR sugarcoating
Wow, that's disappointing to hear. Ed Norton has been my favorite actor since I can remember. His range and depth in characters is simply amazing, but it sucks a bit to find out that apparently he's a jerk on set? I wish I knew more... like does he put other actors ideas down, or is he super demanding about his setup/space, or what it is exactly.Quote: gamerfreakThis was Marvel's statement:

I am not sure about all his movies but with hulk his contract basically gave him final say on the script. From what I remember he did a rewrite in the weeks before filming. They did work in most of his ideas but not all of them and he was not happy. I am guessing it was not a fun situation so they didnt want him back for the other movies.

Somewhere Eric Bana is crying "that could've been me... damn you Ang Lee!"

Never meet your hero’s, I guess.
Normally I wouldn’t care how much of an a-hole a celebrity is, but in this case it affects me personally due to the extreme lack of Edward Norton movies.
American History X was a masterpiece of cinema.
