This host says he gets paid 16% of Theo or 10% of actual loses:
https://www.thrillist.com/entertainment/nation/confessions-of-the-man-who-wins-big-when-you-lose-it-all-in-vegas

theo on ~99.5% machines is pretty low.
no wonder I don't have a host, even tho I'm Diamond Aspirations lvl 1 (~$150k coin-in) for the 2nd straight year.
and I'm up for the year thanks to multiple Royals.

but what does it cost a host to have me on their list?

$150k x .5% = $750.
if that's not my theo loss for making Aspirations Lvl1, then what is it?

Theo !== HE

so vp game HE = .8%
I was told by the host on duty that my theo for the day = $xxx which calculates into 3%.
(that vp game was the only game I played that day)

and apparently a couple of 2500tc days isn't enough to get a host in AC.
she gave me the excuse that my dominant property is Baltimore and that my host will be from there.
:(

so why do casinos calculate the theo different than HE?

A lot of reasons... I'll just give one. Sometimes there are different games on a machine and the casino "averages" these games for a machine Theo instead of a per game theo which will make some higher and some lower than the individual game HE's.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

You don't have a host because you aren't worth anything to the Casino. The tier status comes automatically with coin in. When they run your numbers to see how much they make off of you,, you aren't worth giving free concerts and food offers to.

My question would be why do you care? With your type play they will be only looking closer at it and will offer nothing.

The ability to say, "I have a host"? That matters to some.

I think I can see that it is addictive to have one - the pampering thing, you know.

Not much pampering unless you are a big slot player.
