I am thinking either a sports bar or book. Since I can go to a sports bar anywhere, I was leaning more towards a sports book. I really haven't spent any time in sports books. I remember going to the Hilton (now Westgate) book many years ago, and it was impressive to say the least, but that's about the extent of my experience.
What I am looking for is:
-- Jags on a big screen
-- Comfortable seats
-- Decent pub/bar type food available
-- Not too crowded (is this even possible on a Sunday?)
On/near the strip would be fine, but I'm considering driving over to the Jokers Wild early Sunday morning for $1 craps & cheap breakfast, so Henderson/Boulder Hwy or anywhere in between would work, too.
The game is a 10:00 kick-off. If I do decide to go to a sports book, how soon should I be there to claim a seat?
Also, do any of the CET books give/save priority seating for Diamond members?
Quote: JoemanMy Vegas trip next month covers a Sunday, and I will be looking for a place to watch my beloved Jaguars play. It's now mid-October, and we Jags fans are not talking 2017 Draft yet, so I am considering the season a win so far! ;) (Hey Mission, are you still on the Jaguars' bandwagon? 2-3, baby! Woohoo!!)

I like Harrah's sportsbook. Off to the side of the casino, non-smoking, comfortable seating, good tv's. Not sure about food in there, but full bar. Smaller than some, never seen it crowded, but unsure about NFL Sundays. Maybe someone local could advise about it.

Not gonna happen. They put meaningful games on the big screen and irrelevant games on the smaller ones.
Yeah, I get that. What about books with multiple big screens?Quote: SOOPOONot gonna happen. They put meaningful games on the big screen and irrelevant games on the smaller ones.

Not trying to crush your spirits.... But I can't see any realistic scenario where a Jaguars game is selected for a big screen. Unless of course it is the only game on. As a Bills fan, I am in the same boat as you....

To some extent that's true, the Jags are never going to make the 'biggest' screen with the sound piped in. At least not this year. And since all their Sunday games are at the 1:00 pm eastern time slot, they are always going up against the most number of other games.
If you are able, go while there are still bye week games. In fact on Nov 6th, there are only 6 games at 1:00 eastern. Most bigger books have at least 6 games being shown on big screens at the same time.
No worries! I figured it may be a long shot, but I'd ask anyway. If you don't ask, you don't get!Quote: SOOPOONot trying to crush your spirits....
Actually, that's the day I am planning on. JAX @ KC. I'm curious; on a Sunday, do all NFL games get priority (as far as TV's), or would something like Horse Racing bump the lesser games to the smaller TV's? I know many East Coast tracks have Sunday matinees.Quote: MidwestAPIf you are able, go while there are still bye week games. In fact on Nov 6th, there are only 6 games at 1:00 eastern. If I go to the Westgate, how early should I get there to get 2 seats together?Quote: DRichGo to the Westgate sportsbook. If they don't have it on one of the big screens sit at the bar overlooking the sportsbook and they may put it on a tv for you at the bar.
