So, what's the difference between the shows?
I thought this whole time, you WERE talking about the G2E. And I was thinking that it's in November. The Raving Table Games conference is a smaller showcase conference for table game designers and distributors, who show their games to a handful of casino operators. About two dozen casinos attend, sending in their table games manager or shift managers, who report back to their companies about the games they saw. Also in attendance are one or two "material supliers" such as Gemaco Cards, layout makers, etc.
G2E is the HUGE Cluster-F Conference at the convention center where EVERYBODY IN THE BUSINESS attends: Slot machine companies, Casino ATM and TITO cash-machine manufacturers like NEC, Game Table Carpentry shops, Casino Chip manufacturers, felt manufacturers, Casino consultant groups, mathematicians, casino and gaming book publishers, in addition to game designers for both tables and slot machines.
Raving Table games is like a boutique Grocery store, and G2E is a WALMART.
