I wonder where the newest pod of whales to visit Las Vegas will come from?

Las Vegas has had these giant behemoths swim over from the middle east, Mexico, Japan, China/SE Asia: what country or region will the next pod of Cetaceans come from?

dunno, but I wonder if more are coming from China due to the corruption crackdown in Macao, or does the crackdown mean less overt gambling everywhere?

All the crooked money that WAS leaving China for Las Vegas and Macao has, by report, pretty much dried up.

The public executions of crooked politicians has had a chilling effect.

So for the moment anyway, the Chinese whales are not out and about.

So who's next?

The mid east is hampered by low oil prices, and they seem to prefer the European casinos.

Japan is still hurting.

I believe India is poised to take off economically, as are a few other Asian countries, but nothing seems imminent.

I guess all those mega suites set aside for whales will not be serving their intended purpose.

This fact must really worry casinos like MGM, Bellagio and the others that get a lot of their bottom line profit from flensing whales.

The biggest whale ever, Kerry Packer, is dead so he can't affect a casino's bottom line, win or lose, as he once did.
