Vegas July 4

I have been to Vegas every July for past 7 years but never on July 4Th which I will be there this year. Is there anything special happening on July 4th.

The 4th is very tame compared to New Years. Not very many of the strip casino's do anything as fireworks go. There are numerous shows out in the locals area's, but not very visible from the strip. About 2 years ago the wife and I got a decent room comped at Caesars on the 4th and some whale rented the pool area all night, and had a private fireworks show put on poolside for him and his guests. We had a great view from the room.
