There were at least a couple of WoV members who attended but who did not appear in any of my photos. I am not completely certain whether that was their choice (probably) or just an oversight/error on my part. If it's my error, I apologize. There were also a couple of non-members who had attended a Vegas Rover event earlier with ohiovegasguy and came along to the WoV event with him. I did not meet them or include them in the photos I shot.
In the first photo, we have, left to right, Switch, Mrs. Pacman, Pacman, beachbumbabs, Paradigm and the Mrs., and Paigowdan and his Mrs. I had not previously met several of these folks; I had not seen Paigowdan since the 2014 Spring Fling, and I had not seen BBB since a little get-together in Florida last September.
Of course, the arrangement of the subjects in the photo is far from optimal, with size distortion due to different distances from the camera. It's not quite so extreme as the photo I posted from the very first of these WoV group gatherings, but it's pretty bad.
The second photo shows the Wizard, NicksGamingStuff, and robbiehood. I had not previously met robbiehood, had not seen NicksGamingStuff since a dinner last May, and had not seen the Wizard in almost two years. During this gathering the Wizard gave me a WoO shirt because of the Cosmopolitan review I wrote last February, and I gave him a collegiate license plate for his collection because of ... well, because I could.
The third photo shows Venthus and ohiovegasguy, neither of whom I had met previously, as well as DRich, whom I last saw at the 2014 Spring Fling. If you are wondering how I could slip and crop out an obviously cute girl on the right edge of the photo, well, that was just to whet your appetite, since she appears in the next photo.
The fourth and final photo of the set includes yours truly (Doc -- the bearded geezer standing in the back), the incognito AxelWolf and his equally-incognito Mrs. hiding behind a menu, plus the four lovely components of Axel's extended entourage for the evening. He provided me their names (left to right) as: Karen, Daniell, Eyleen, and Xochitl. He also noted that Karen's photo does not do her justice. (Not the first time someone has criticized my photography.)
Hope I identified everyone correctly and spelled the user names properly. It was another fun WoV gathering. So when is the next one going to be?

If you think I correctly spelled everyone's name right, Id be worried for you.Quote: DocThere have been at least two threads discussing the WoV event held just over a week ago -- the planning thread is here, and the trivia quiz thread is here. I thought I would start this new thread for posting and discussing the photos from the Sunday evening (1/11/15) gathering at the 777 Brewpub at Main Street Station, rather than post them at the end of the planning thread.

Love the shirt, DRich! Clever commentary on the LDS religion, or just a joke?
Wish I could have made it. I would like to meet Axel someday, seems like a pretty cool guy.
Good to see you, BBB.
Quote: odiousgambitthis isn't going to be another photo-gate thing with you-know-who, is it? LOL
Don't think so. I made certain to let everyone know I was taking pictures (except the one I appeared in myself -- robbiehood snapped that one) and would be posting them here. I let everyone who was interested take a look at the image on the camera screen and give their OK before I wrapped. I even ran a followup with AxelWolf to be certain that he is adequately incognito in the photo, since he does not want a visual web presence. Don't really think anyone has a complaint, other than perhaps Karen, whose hotness may not come through adequately.
Quote: 1BBOkay, I'll ask. What's the entourage for?
Aesthetic pleasantness.

Just a joke. An ex-girlfriend of mine is now best friends with my wife and the three of us do everything together. Everyone just refers to them as my two wives. The three of us travel often and I love getting reactions from people when I am wearing it and the three of us are together. When we were in St. Maarten we convinced everybody we met that it was our honeymoon for my second wife.
never posts anymore.

Haha, that is awesome.

Office job. I know the field and think I know the company, but I'll leave it up to him as to whether he wants that announced on line.
Great. I'm glad you found a good office job you enjoy, and got out of the dealing business, which you didn't seem to enjoy.Quote: NicksGamingStufffor the last two years or so I have been an auto claims adjuster- different line of work, I only found out the event because scott texted me when he was in town. I have lost interest in a lot of the gambling stuff.
