Why on Earth would we discuss this if you were right?.

Sigh. In ALL the times I've been stopped
since I started driving in the 60's, no cop
has EVER asked me to see anything I had
in the car. Not even when I drove cab. I
got stopped last year for a brake light,
and this year going 40 is a school zone, which
he let me out of. I've been stopped in Vegas
over the years. Never had one problem.

I refuse to throw my skirt over my head and run
down the street screaming because y'all are
too paranoid to leave your homes.

Then whatchu doin' with all that drug money then, boy? I believe this cash is the proceeds from a drug deal. This is going home with us.

Why on Earth would we discuss this if you were right? To top that, you just damaged your credibility in many discussions with such a statement.

Never had a problem with it, never will.
I'm not a criminal.

One may have to leave his basement occasionally to have a problem.

I highly doubt you have or ever will travel though California and Nevada with large amounts of cash so you haven't anything to worry about.
Besides, A lousy a $100 bill wrapped around 49 singles in a pill bottle, isn't enough to get paranoid about anyway.

Whether or not you are a criminal is irrelevant, it has nothing to do with finding a good place to hide things.
A criminal doesn't care if you're a thief or an angel . THEY TARGET PILL BOTTLES NOWADAYS.

Perhaps you never had a problem 30 years ago. Its now 2014 and prescription medication abuse is a much bigger problem. Cops and thieves target them.
They probably don't mess with elderly peoples prescriptions who have hemorrhoid cream slopped all over their bottles of centrum silver and donepezel.

Regarding the asset seizure forfeiture AKA. bend over and forget the lube. Whoever came up with the name, asset seizure forfeiture is a genius. It's a confusing hidden way to literally say highway robbery.

About 4 months back, I was harassed with a number of questions about money and what I was doing in Sacramento during a routine traffic stop. No doubt targeted for out of state license plate traveling near northern California. He said my brake light wasn't working, I later checked it and it was. Had 5 k in my wallet, he may have seen the wad when I grabbed my license. Continually badgered me about drugs, and that it didn't make sense to play poker in a card room in Sacramento when I had a Vegas license. I should not have to answer crap like that on a minor traffic stop. Eventually he let me go. Given the direction of the conversation and pulled over for no reason, I have little doubt that if I had 10-15k rather than 5 it would have been confiscated under the assumption that I was on way to Humboldt county for drugs. Even though there was zero evidence of that and I did have some gambling related material along.

Surprised he didn't toss in enough to make it go over 5k just so he could take it.

We were recently pulled over in a small town in california for speeding. The cop was nice enough to only the driver a ticket.I took my ID out and hid my wallet. He only asked the driver for ID. He didn't harass us or ask any questions.
Had he searched, he would have had a new margarita machine.

Same thing happened in searchlight.

Damn Axel, I'm from 2000 miles away and I know to drive 20 through Searchlight! Dropping the speed limit so fast is the only way they make money in that town.

This is true. There are people in England and Australia right now talking about the thing Searchlight is known for. The only thing that ever "happens in Searchlight." The one and only thing. The only point of its existence. For about as long as there have been motors on wheels, and electric lights. "Instructions are printed on the back, and have a nice day."
