Does anyone know the average dimensions, in inches, the printed part of a Roulette layout?

Thanks

Given the typical size of a chip, and the way chips are used on the roulette layout, I'm guessing each square is about 3.5 inches.

That would be about 18 x 49 inches overall.
May the cards fall in your favor.

Except the "squares" are not square.

It all depends on the size of the table. The bigger the table, the bigger the betting area.

Here is a pic of a casino-quality table just donated to our school. It is an 8' table and the betting area is 46" x 21"

Here is a pic of one our 20' double roulette (2 @10'). the layout is about 25% larger. I can get exact dimensions on this if you want.

Spinetti's is selling a used Roulette felt from Mandalay Bay. They say the dimensions of the felt itself are 100"x45". It appears there's approximately 10-12" on all sides for the felt to be tucked. No idea if that helps.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

thanks for the responses, so I'm guessing a 24" x 48" printed area could fit on a 8 ft. table?

Yes, but whether it's usable or not depends on the size of the wheel/tub and how much other space you need.

Don't guess. Most layout printers will have you send them exact measurements/specs and then will send you a proof BEFORE they do the actual printing. That's because, once they print, you own it! Plus, a custom printer can include a logo or image on the layout just like in the real casinos. We have our school crest on every one of our tables. See pic. http://i61.tinypic.com/4ilgk8.jpg

Here's who we use. He does excellent work and is quite reasonable. I have probably had him make 35 layouts for us over the last few years. http://uwearinc.com/
