DRich and I have PM'd and made our arrangements, so at the moment my plan is to scratch off (and post) the first prize box tomorrow morning before work.

Here's to hoping the first one is a biggie!

Best of luck to you blount2000, I'm hoping for $2000 right out of the gate! (but I'll settle for $5)

yea I would not have bet with him- I only took some small action with know members
bottom line is its either 40 or 10 or 20 possibly 25 each for a 200 win, cant be 100 each because there is no 800 prize, there arent really that many options it can turn out to be
if this was a different state I could have told you exactly what it would be before he even showed the prizes

Odds seemed good Under then later looked and thought I saw part of an "R". An "R" would be part of a code for forty if it said that. Couldn't really see well enough so voided my offer after I saw it. These blanket wins usually are low, but can't mess with the possible "R". 30 is the same damn thing as 39.5 realistically because tickets aren't usually printed with prize amounts so strange, so don't see the bargain. I don't believe many people bet on this, but if there was, must be a sucker list being used.

After the "scratch-off" process I conducted earlier this morning, I now hold the results of the first prize box on the ticket! I will be posting the results shortly.

I know that trust is deservingly rare these days (especially on the internet), but I wanted to clarify that I didn't create this thread in order to solicit bets or bids or anything. I just thought the "all line winners" ticket was neat and that it would be fun to share the ultimate results.

The only action I have on this is my acceptance of DRich's $25 offer to split the ticket 50/50.

Before posting the results from this morning, I want to offer DRich the opportunity to call "no action" on his $25 for any reason he may see fit. No worries and no hard feelings!

This is so much fun to watch play out.

I am 100% confident that blount is completely on the up and up. I don't believe he had any intention on offering up the ticket, or any part of the ticket, when he made the original post. So I believe this is as honest a bet as there has been here.

Is blount offering DRich the chance to back out because he now realizes the ticket isn't worth much, OR, is he offering a back out because the first scratch is more than $25? More suspense. Loving it.

No, no, it's fun! I also took blount to be 100% up-and-up. Let's try benefit of the doubt for now, assume positive intent, etc. on his part. I'm assuming, as I thought he said, that he'll post a series of pictures as he checks each total. Looking forward to it.

FWIW, each state is different, but I've had multiple winners on FL scratchoffs a couple dozen times, and I would say the majority is the same amount for each, but several have had different numbers (like 10-20-20-50 on a 5 scratchoff for 100). I'm hoping TN has similar opportunities.

I appreciate your offer but I fully understood that there would be a possibility of deception and I accepted that risk. I figure the worst case is that the ticket is worth $8 and I lose $21. I can live with that. For a small possible expected loss I expect to get the appropriate amount of entertainment out of it.

Let the reveal begin.

scratch-offs here have three letter codes on them that will "spell" out the winning amount. Like FIV (5), TWF (25), FTY (50).

I see those too. Usually randomly around the periphery of the scratch-off area. I believe they're a mark to make it harder to modify the ticket to appear more valuable (like painting a zero on a $5 winner).

Don't forget HUN and FHN.

Protip: if you find yourself scratching cards, but don't enjoy the act of scratching cards, a slot club players card can usually clear all the scratch-to-remove layer in one or two swipes, unlike a coin which takes.. many. Useful trick I picked up from someone during a promo that involved scratch-off cards a few months back. (Also, coins tend to indent the card, which can make them harder to read later. Using a plastic card to scratch tends to leave the underlying surface intact.)
May the cards fall in your favor.

It's a $2 ticket. Tickets seldom have a prize that's less than face value. I'm of the opinion that a 4/2/2/2 is a more likely way to get to $10.

Really, it depends on the jurisdictions. I've never seen a ticket paying less than 1:1, but I've seen all kinds of combinations where the payout is not an even multiple, such as a $15 win on a $2 ticket.

unlike Ontario which shows you the exact odds and the prize payouts Tennessee does not seem to have any such game sheets available, so the available prizes are just a guess.

Good luck.

I decided to go ahead and scratch off boxes 2-3-4 and see if all the prizes were exactly the same as box 1.

They were not exactly the same:

I'll scratch off the last four boxes either later tonight or in the morning. Until then I'll continue to enjoy my last bit of hope that one of the four remaining boxes has a nice BIG prize under it!
