HotBlonde challenge

Most of you will remember that I welched on that bet. I think Buzz even wanted to come collect. Well, I've never welched on a bet before. I may have had reasons why I did it, but they were bogus. I owe her 100 bucks. She won, fair and square.

So I have sent her a PM and she's trying to find a way for me to get her the money. She doesn't use paypal. I wanted to come clean here because you all watched it transpire. I'm not looking for forgiveness, It was a dick move on my part. I just wanted the forum to know that I am making good on my commitment. Hopefully the other person who stiffed her has made good on their commitment as well.

It didn't keep me awake but it was always there. I'm happy that my track record will be clean again. Maybe the Poker Gods will look kindly on this and I can start winning again too. :-)

Very interesting. This must have been before I started posting on this forum. Why did you Welch on the bet?

The Challenge ended about the time you joined I believe. There were more suspensions handed out during that than any other thread before or since, I would imagine. Tempers were flaring and people were asking for the thread to be locked. To his credit, Mike never locked it.

The "why" doesn't really matter today. It was all BS reasoning on my part. When I saw the thread about the site needing financial help I sent Mike some money. Then thought it was high time I honor my commitment to HB. So I sent her a PM.
