I haven't stayed at a Caesars property in 25 years. Last stay was in 1989. Actually haven't stayed at any CET property. In the last many years I only stay at Wynn, Aria and a little at Cosmo. I know, bad problem to have. I was invited to stay at Caesars and offered over $3000 in casino play (reel rewards or gaming vouchers)... Also offered RFB, Seven Star etc....
Just would like to know, Is the 3000 as good as cash? Thanks

The $3000 in Reel Rewards can be played on the 9/6 JOB for $2986 theoretical

I would be very careful to read any small print and be sure you understand the terms of the offer, particularly if there is any level of expected play required.

Amen. But in reality the 3,000 is close to be worth 3,000, you just cant convert it to cash except by winning when you use it.

It never hurts to re-establish your level of play at a new casino, but see how things go.

If you're not going to use it I would sell it. Lots of people like Caesers vouchers since most people have to re-qualify Diamond/Seven Star.

Yes re-establishing. But the only reason im staying there is obviously due to the 3k! So do you know if the 3k is good for table games like BJ, roulette and Craps etc? One bet of 3k is doable?? Thanks

I think we got it DRich. ;)

Also if he's a DDB player he could play it for $2998.80 theoretical return at Rio. 40/10/6 DDB (99.96%).

If he wants to establish a relationship with CET though, probably better to play where he wants to stay in the future.

Are we sure Reel Rewards can be used for video poker? Check first!

Yes, unless they have recently changed it.

Doubtful.

I had this heartbreak in February using "Reel Rewards":

Yes Reel Rewards vouchers CAN be used for video poker at Caesars. They cannot be "cashed" and must be played. Depending on the voucher to play it might require that the recipient's Total Rewards card is in the machine.

Definitely check to see WHEN you get the free play.

My experience is that you don't earn points from reel rewards or other free play, but I think Bob Dancer mentioned a way to get points from the freeplay on the radio show at one point a few months back. Does anyone know how to make this happen?

At CET you get the points. Many other casinos you don't though.

Maybe this is the case where you play but not at Rincon and not at Ak-Chin.

Hm, guess it's a local decision. I got it in Kansas City recently. Thought I did in Vegas, but my freeplay was so insignificant, I never noticed whether it counted or not.
