After listening to that interview I would see no reason to buy any of his books. He confirms black jack ap is all but washed up today. Obviously, what he got away with in the old days no longer is possible. He's pretty much banned from everywhere.

Him and most all ap authors are supported by the casinos who sell their books in their own lobby daring anyone to give it a go. They also get support from writing articles in magazines like "casino player" whose main purpose is to support the casinos themselves.

This is rather hyperbolic; I doubt any casinos sell books on card counting in their own lobbies or gift shops. Sure they welcome bad APs to come and lose their money, but once you've taken their "dare" and they peg you as an overall winning player, they will kindly ask you to hit the bricks. Or not so kindly.
