By winning some money of course I mean having the best chance to win some money

I'm not looking to make thousands, maybe just couple hundreds will make me happy

I have counting cards in mind but not sure if I should play 2 or 6 decks? And what rules should I look for when scouting for tables besides 3-2 payout?

also have in mind some inner betting systems in roulette

and Baccarat betting the banker every time with martingale

Which one should I focus on the most? Or you have better ideas?

Counting cards is the only one of those options that provides you with a positive expectation. So I would pursue that, as long as you have been practicing, are competent, and have a sufficient bankroll.

As far as rules, 3-2 is the most important one. After that:
  • prefer games where dealer stands on soft 17 as opposed to hits soft 17
  • prefer games where you can double as much as possible: after splits, and on any 2 initial cards (as opposed to no double-after-split or double on 9-10-11 only)
  • prefer games where surrender is allowed, and know the correct basic strategy for surrendering, as well as appropriate counting indexes
  • prefer games where you can resplit aces

Those are the main rule variants.
2D is generally more exploitable, but depending on the penetration, 6D might be better. Again, this depends on the rules. If you know the rules and penetration in play at your specific casino, post them up and we can give you advice.

Lastly, if you have a small bankroll and don't mind losing, just play a game that you enjoy. Counting cards is a tough way to make easy money.

Start out with something you would like.

Roulette is 5.25 percent against you... that is a hefty house edge. Craps is 1.44 percent. Much better edge to buck.

Thanks for the tips!

Actually I like blackjack the most but I have very small bankroll, something like $200, wont do more so I don't feel bad losing a lot of money because I'm still in college

I didn't count cards in a casino before, so I'm hoping I don't lose track with a hectic envioronment like memorials day weekend!

I will wong in when the running count is 4+ in a 2 deck game, do you think this is my best bet?

That is true, but there is also a high chance of short term winning

Would also like to say-- counting isn't a definite thing either, and definitely takes a bit of work to get good at. Unless you have your fundamentals down solid, you'll probably be better off working on brushing up on basic strategy.

And, uhm, looking at what's been said already, I'd definitely go with the brushing up on basics.

With $200 you can't really count, especially since (I'm assuming) you want your money to last a while. Just sit and min-bet, play basic strategy, and practice keeping the count (but don't vary your bet). Maybe wong out if the count gets bad.

If it's near the end of your trip and you have some money left, maybe try upping your bet a bit when the count gets good.

I'd assume that you would be unhappy if you sat down, the count got good, you upped your bet, lost a few, and your $200 was gone 15 minutes after you started playing in Vegas.

As stated earlier you can forget counting cards with a $200 buy in. With that amount of money your only chance at winning anything significant is a long shot. I know I've been there many times before. My wife has, on numerous occasions, sat at a roulette wheel for hours on a $100 buy in. Many times leaving up after hours of play. She never places inside numbers staying with the outside bets.

I've walked to a craps table with $50 bucks before and left with $450. I've also walked to a craps table with $500 and left with zero!! You won't stand a chance at any kind of martingale with a $200 bankroll. Forget that completely. However Baccarrat is one of the lower house edge games in the casino.

Carnival games like Mississippi stud have a chance at a much higher payoff but will eat through your bankroll quickly if you don't get some hits.

Good luck and I wish you all the best on your low rolling venture.
