Quote: AxelWolfMy GF just got a grilled chicken wrap from Micky D's. She took a bite and noticed it was very chewy looked at it and the chicken was very, very raw she was discussed and proceeded to throw up. Doubtful she will get sick. I was thinking people have sued them for less and received nice sums of money.
Hope you kept the wrap to show to your lawyer?
Never fun to get undercooked food, especially chicken, salmonella and all.
Which McDonalds was it btw, I know the owner of like 9 stores in town.
I just had her Take a pic of it, then take it back and get her money back. manager QUICKLY tossed it out after acknowledging it was very raw . He asked her if she wanted a new one(LOL). She signed a receipt say RAW CHICKEN.Quote: TomspurHope you kept the wrap to show to your lawyer?

I always thought that the chicken patties and mcnuggets at fast food is precooked and it just gets thawed when fried? Like a frozen dinner.Maybe I am wrong.

Need damages to sue. You may be entitled to nominal damages.
Quote: treetopbuddyMaybe the OP can sue the maker of his Achilles' tendon
He should sue his kid and argue that her conception is a proximate cause of his injury. Would he have gone trampolining by himself? No.

Hell no he would not have gone trampolining by himself unless he's a pedifile......which I'm guessing he's not as you can't be a member of WoV if your a pedifile. Each day is better than the next
Quote: RSIf every day is better than the next....that means the next day (tomorrow) is worse than this day (today).....which means life keeps getting worse and worse! I don't like your sig. :(
Every day we live we get one day closer to death. On the bright side it's one day closer to retirement and telling children stories about "back in the day" walking to school both ways uphill in the snow barefeet.

The fact that the OP asking for advice somehow devolved into him hypothetically being a pedophile is hilarious.
You would think. However I have heard of cases where people get compensated and have no real damages.Quote: SonuvabishNeed damages to sue. You may be entitled to nominal damages.
not that we are even going to pursue this.
BTW they have "normal" chicken breast for salad and things.

They have to have a claim to sue, and all tort claims have a damage element. The only thing I can think of that remotely resembles your facts is negligent infliction of emotional distress. In such an instance, they wouldn't be "real" as in physical damages, but the damages element could be met by the distress.
