How many whales?

We have a new member, Brigada, who says he wagers between 10k and 75k per hand on BJ and baccarat, and will play from 4 to 6 hours a day. In my mind he is what is considered a 'whale'. Maybe I am naïve, but I find it hard to imagine that there are many players who average lets say 20k per bet for 4 hours a day. So my question is.... Tomorrow, a non descript midweek day in February, how many players will be in Vegas will be giving the casinos in Vegas that kind of action? I'm going to vote between 6 and 10, but am ready to take my lumps.

Hmmm…in all of Las Vegas…I still think a nondescript weekday does not warrant much in the way of whales…my supposition is that most whales hail from Asia and that, as the Chinese new Year just passed, many of these whales will have already been in Vegas for those festivities…therefore, that is my reasoning for voting 0-5

I have no idea what the number is, but I would venture that it is one secret each casino would like to keep very confidential.
