My flight to Vegas lands at 8:40AM, just in time for breakfast. I enjoyed the Peppermill the last time I was there. Any other recommendations for breakfast? I prefer the strip, but I have lots of time before check in, so I will go anywhere if it sounds compelling.

The restaurant right in front of Paris, I believe it is called Mon Ami Gabi. They have the best Bananas Foster I have EVER tasted. The rest of the breakfasts are also pretty solid.
Great people watching spot although it is a little pricey.

Enjoy your Vegas trip!

DuPars at the Golden Gate.
The Original Pancake House (several locations but none on the Strip)
Bagel Cafe (on Buffalo Blvd. and 95)

I haven't been there in a few years but my wife says the best breakfast she ever had was at Mon Ami Gabi (Paris...near the buffet if I remember right)...so two votes for that.

+1, it's fantastic.

I like the Watermelon salad, without the Watermelon, and make sure they use the correct olives, not regular black olives. Their coffee is also outstanding.

If this is the restaurant that has seating outside, attached to the Paris...I have had by far the best dinner of my life there. If breakfast is anything like dinner, I will definitely be checking that out next time I go.

The Mon Ami Gabi recommendation was good -- that is one of my favorite lunch places. I have not tried breakfast there.

If you are there on a weekend, the brunch at Bouchon (Venetian) is not to be missed. Pricy but totally worth it (I do not mind spending money on good food... I did not mind even when I was young and poor. Life is too short for bad food)

Thanks to all for the recommendations. I find this forum so valuable for this kind of insight. I never would have known about the Golden Steer if I hadn't read it here.

Yeah that's the one. The entrance is inside Paris but the restaurant has inside/outside seating.

Reason I like breakfast there is that it is still cool enough early so that outside is a decent proposition!

Yeah, the Wizard almost cashed in his chips after getting a nasty case of food poisoning which he thinks came from a meal there.

Any Roberto's taco shop out here is great for breakfast. I like getting the chorizo burrito. And magnolias in four queens downtown for CFS.

I'm 99.54% sure it came from there. Not to mention the health department has nearly shut them down over other infractions.

I can't say that I've had them for breakfast, but for lunch/dinner I find they are nothing special.

for lunch/dinner, you should try the #7. the carne asada plate. get the flour tortillas and a few cups of their red sauce. throw it all together and make yourself a super burrito.

You mean you're 9/6 sure? Sorry, VP on the brain...

I usually have the $5 bloody mary from Paris for breakfast. If you ever find yourself staying in Planet Hollywood, the Planet Dailies is actually quite good. Not sure I would go out of my way to eat it, but I'd choose it over going out of my way for something else. menu
