Bovada could be the first casino online or off to post payback returns on ALL its games.

This would give it a permanent place in history. Probably have a wiki entry.

We know people will play games even when the odds are right there on the table. So, why not everything?

Possible model:

Popular games get worse odds because people want to play them more anyway.
High denomination get better odds (just like in brick and mortar)

Maybe some temporary promotions where one player will get really good mystery odds, and 9 other get worse on same game. Casino makes money. One player gets really lucky. Others keep the lights on. (so to speak)

If a game like Ultimate X poker worked online, just like it does off, some players would find bonus play left by other players. This would attract people who might also decide to play while there. In fact other games where players can gain off other players mistakes is not a bad promotion idea for a casino.

Ah, well.

I agree that casinos hurt themselves by being so secretive, but Bovada may be technically limited in its ability to display paybacks because the casino software is leased from RTG.

Also, I'm not sure the concept would be entirely new. Other online casinos have displayed such information to some extent. I recall playing the now-defunct Lasseters, which was required by Australian regulations to display programmed returns for slot games, possibly for all games. (I only remember the slots.)

I didn't know if anyone had gone all out before. Such a move though, if truly the first, could garner international news stories. Or not, but it might.
