bringing my girlfriend out to las vegas for the first time in two weeks- already got free rooms at mandalay bay through a host by verifying play at another casino- does anyone know of any good promotions for signing up for cards - she does not have a card at any casino

I guess "good" depends on how high of a roller you are, but these come to mind.

Cosmo $100 slot rebate promotion is still available, as far as I know. It can be used on VP, the credit can't be used on video roulette anymore, though.

If you go downtown, El Cortez offers a 5% free slot play bonus on withdraws over $200, $1k max. So, basically about free $45 to use in good VP, if you don't mind withdrawing $1k at their ATM, $3 fee on there end.

Also downtown, the American Casino Guide has $25 match plays for new signups at the Golden Gate. There are other coupons in there that may or may not make the purchase of the book +EV.

Quite a few places offer five dollars of free play if enroll a spouse or spouse equivalent and an added five dollars if they get her email. Its usually free play but some places make it five bucks worth of food.

I don't really think treking for some freebie is worth it but if its her first trip to Vegas she may want to trek a bit with you anyway.

Visit the freebie page at advantageplayerdotcom just before you leave home...note the biggies and the close by things but remember girls have feet ... and rarely buy sensible shoes. Make sure she brings two pairs of walking shoes...and drinks water. Even Mandalay Bay is a huge property and she may want to explore it rather than trek downtown for peanuts.

Mandalay Bay and Luxor both offer $30 in table game chips for $20, inquire at slot club booth for both offers, a must do since both of you are right there.

Sign up for different cards at different times, thus you can both do these promos, this applies for all slot cards you apply for around the city, double your fun and profits.
