Cosmopolitan, Aria, Revel

Seriously? Is that public knowledge? How do you know this? Is this grapevine info? Do these casinos publicly acknowledge it?

Revel is in AC. Where are Cosmopolitan and Aria? I only know AC, Philadelphia area, Delaware and Maryland.

Thanks.

Las Vegas

not really sure about Aria having them however they probably have the capability

IGT to provide server-based gaming system for Cosmopolitan

Revel
http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g29750-i78-k5322385-Revel_to_Offer_Some_Server_Based_Gaming_Machines-Atlantic_City_New_Jersey.html

With a google search you can find better information

I'm asumming any new NV casino will have them as well.

I doubt that They work in the way Gr8, and Varm Think they do, they can't just change the program during your play, they have some rules as far as the machine being vacant for 10 min or so before they can change the pay tables or hold on the machines

Thanks, AxelWolf. That sets me straight.

Varmenti, I was totally wrong about your central server assertion. I agree with you that at least some casinos, maybe all in the not too distant future, would have the capability to change payout. I guess the provision is that Gaming Control would need to be notified ahead of time. That's always been the case in the past, except the casinos had to change chips rather than linking everything to a central server.

Anyway, you are right and I was wrong. Sorry 'bout that.

I'm just wondering if it is in any of the casinos he has played at. Because most casinos still use the old individual chip method. I have a feeling he was only right because of a few casinos have implemented this. I bet he assumed all casinos did this.

In fact, that is exactly why he's prohibited from starting any new threads on baccarat. He talks...and talks...and talks.....yet he refuses to go into any detail about his "winning" system. (His last suspension occurred after he started another redundant thread about bac after being explicitly told by a moderator not to do so.)

......"prohibited from starting any new threads".

Baffles the mind, doesn't it?

I've more Baccarat theories and plays and experiences to share, but I'm being censured by the admin.

......"yet he refuses to go into any detail about his winning system".

Not true.

Perform a search. Read my posts. And I mean...really read them, with comprehension.

A person seeking to better their Baccarat game will find it well worth the effort to do so, IMHO. There's a wealth of valuable insights, plays, theories, and experiences to be found. But they've got to WANT to benefit from the information, not simply seek to discredit both it and the author.

Reason being, bac is one step above a coin flip in
complication. You bet B or P, that's it. A child of 6
can do it with the same amount of success as an

it's a -3. It's so boring the Asians invented card

The card mutilation thing is pretty cool. There is a whole system to it. It's online somewhere (can't be bothered to google it). It really does add a whole extra layer to the game, in addition to all the "roads" and whatnot.

To me a "Coin Flip" Style Game of Chance that shows a Casino Vig of 1% is a good bet.
Seeing runs of 15 Bankers or Players is a good bet.

Asians use those score cards to determine math in their own way. in most cases sideways Runs instead of just vertical thus thus eliminating the Chop Chop betting that shows as a downfall in my method.

I don't care though. I like my Vertical runs of Bankers and Players. and I don't mind to lose a couple hundred during Chop Chop times.

Over all, the streaks are much more amazing than any other casino game.

EvanBob, what do you like to play?

Baccarat = 1% House edge, bet both sides, nothing allows you to lose both your bets.
Roulette = average runs of 5 with 0-00 wipes you out. 2.75 vig against you.
Craps = average runs of 6 on the pass line / Don't pass but again BAR12 and any Crap will wipe out your Bankroll before even getting started. 1.5 Vig against you.
Black Jack (counting cards using Basic strategy) average run of 3 in a row before wiping out your entire bank roll. +1% on your side but.... you still lose because the lack of runs.

Then there is Video Poker machines set to payout 100% (does that mean you put a hundred in and you get a hundred out? Nope because when the royal comes out, somebody is putting the money back in.

Slot Machines set for 110% payout will eat you up and spit you out in the short term.

This is the intensity that develops in players having 15,000 on a bet, they like to take their time to see the card from corner to corner and Whipping it on the Table when a Natural 9 appears giving them victory. this is the Climax of Asian Betting and Victory.

I believe baccarat is yet to be discovered. I simply don't know any other game where money won can be so astonishingly high. Most players unfortunately don't have a slightest clue of how to play it. Card torture is just another example, following patterns, streaks and so on. In some way proper play reminds day trading, you ride a wave increasing your bets, and time is your enemy, you can't allow yourself a luxury of playing a single hand for 15 minutes.

Yeah, bac is the one game where you can manhandle the cards. You usually don't see people totally rip them up and stuff, but bac players bend the cards like crazy all the time.

I do agree with varmenti and gr8player that baccarat can be pretty exciting. I enjoy playing it as a break from blackjack and video poker. Where varmenti and gr8player and I part ways, though, is that I know that trying to develop a betting system or money management system to try and beat the game is utterly futile. It's a guessing game, nothing more. Some people are lucky guessers. Sadly, I'm not one of those. But I enjoy the thrill of trying to identify a trend and betting into it. But, again, it's all luck. There's absolutely nothing in either varmenti's or gr8player's systems/methods or style of play that can possibly guarantee long term wins.

Baccarat is not for everyone, for sure. On this site there appears to be a rather large number of craps afficionados. Personally, I find craps too complicated. I know one can limit one's bets to pass/don't pass and come/don't come and play it that way and win money. Frankly, though, I find that BORING.

Working at Microsoft, one would think you would have learned something about posting exact information like this on public message boards. A spambot's wet dream...

Hello again, Varmenti.

You are a special breed indeed, my friend. A rather trusting soul, from your posting pictures of yourself and family and now your personal contact info.

I might, if I were you, consider editing that information out of your posts, Varmenti. Personal safety is priority one. It is our individual responsibility to ensure it as best we can. These postings, IMHO, could never serve that purpose. Please reconsider them, my friend.

Why was this thread revived? I scrolled through it and the only non-suspended participants are apparently $5. players.

there are literally dozens who now or in the past claim to beat house games with progressions and/or bet selection at gamblingforums.com

quite a few of them indicate that they are expecting worldwide media attention when their systems are proven

they say they are 𝐔𝐆𝐄 winners

The sad fact is that even something as simple as Marty is likely to put the player ahead in dollar terms at the outset. E.g. with $1000 bankroll a Marty would have about 90% chance of seeing the player reach $100 profit before he quits or busts out. With that likely success under his belt, he's then evangelical about his discovery.

As I don't play craps, I'm neutral about his strategy, while not optimistic, what is the consensus regarding his methodology from those that do play and understand the game? Is it as bad as his Baccarat play?
