So it says they will be selling for a special pre-order price of about 11 dollars. Is it worth it to pick it up for this price or is it able to get obtained for a lesser price(or even free)?

I got the 2013 version for full price and used way more than $18 worth of the coupons. Yes it's worth it.
You may want to wait until they list the 2014 coupons first to figure out which ones you would use.

I don't think you need to buy now to obtain a discount. Amazon discounts at least 25% pretty much always, and if you can spend $25 or more on eligible items, the shipping is free.

The FB page for American Casino Guide says it will release the full list of coupons for the 2014 book TODAY!!! I cant wait... I'm going in January and have used this book in the past. It is BEYOND worthe the money. I just did a Google search and found it available for preorder from Walmartfor just $11.37 with FREE shipping... Are you kidding me? That's a steal. You can preorder it from other places as well but I haven't checked on S&H from anywhere else. At 11 bucks, who needs to?

Have fun!!!

Yes, the current edition is $13.36 at Walmart, but it requires a $50 purchase to qualify for free shipping.

Good find, hayshaw! That's an excellent deal from Walmart for a 2014 pre-order.

Yeah I asked the guy about it why the pre-order deal was actually a few cents more than Walmart. He said that the pre-order people(ordering from the ACG site) would get theirs earlier and also get something else. I don't remember how much the shipping charge was from ordering it directly from the site. Sure a new newsletter will come out today explaining things.

Just placed my order through the walmart link I posted earlier. Shipping was indeed free and the only thing i bought was the book. With tax, my total price was $12.27 and delivery is estimated for 12/2/13... The list of all coupons in the book was just posted a few minutes ago on the American Casino Guide's website under general discussion forum.

I'm not even in Vegas yet and I'm already ahead!!!! :)

If you were wondering about Walmart specifically, the book is not listed as an in-store item. It's online only.

Wow! You certainly didn't have to do all of that, thank you!

I guess I'll save the few bucks and order it from WM on-line, I don't trust shipping, though, but I guess it will be okay if I order early enough. I believe that if I have it sent to a store, I don't have to pay for shipping, regardless of the total purchase amount.

One would think the last week of Dec the stores in Vegas would be unloading the 2013 book for 10 cents on the dollar or less

Yeah, but you run the risk of them being out of stock at one store, multiple stores, or even all of them.

We've bought >$150 worth of these books over several trips and ALWAYS have ended up using more than the value in coupons on our trips. My wife won $1,000 on the free play she got at LVC/Plaza (she won some at each), so this is one gambling book that has been more than worth the money to us!!

The coupons do get to be a pain, so I don't "maximize" use--I just use them to guide us to certain casinos when there is a choice.

Much better than the Anthony Curtis one you get for "free" by purchasing his newsletter. The Ellis Island ACG coupons are worth the price of the book alone.

Thank you for the link, and those are indeed some very strong offers.

I suppose my last question concerning ACG is: Does anyone know whether two different coupons may be presented, at one time, from two different books as long as there are two people presenting the coupons?

If you look at the $10 Even Money matchplay, for example, that'd be pretty easy to liquidate for +$20 on a two-player Doey-Don't at Craps, unless the CO is a 12, of course, in which case you break even on cash.

Always fun to coupon. In the past could net $400-$500 if you maximized with ACG and LVA.

Anthony Curtis sells a discounted ACG+LVA near the beginning of December.

Most places will not let you bet them on cancelling bets, I.E. red/black, pass/don't pass, etc.

Just a word of caution for those of you new to ACG. If you purchase multiple books each year, as I do, there are limit restrictions on some of the offers. Obviously some of the free play offers state right up front that they are only good for new player card sign ups, so if you already have a players card at such a property, you are ineligible.

A number of the offers, have a one per calendar year restriction, gold coast match play immediately comes to mind. Since you must exchange the ACG coupon at the players club, the restriction is enforced. Others like Palms, says once per calendar year on the coupon, but since you play the actual ACG coupon, they can't enforce it. At least one property, Lucky club in north las Vegas, has a once per lifetime restriction. Most others have a once per 30 days restriction and since some of these must be exchanged at players club, you can't get away with buying several books and using multiple coupons on the same trip.

The coupon for D resort, downtown, where you push a losing 22 wager up to $25 max is new and is a real strong offer, worth the full face value if you play enough, you are sure to get a losing 22. That alone more than covers the cost of each book, assuming, there isn't some once per year restriction. :-)

Don't forget the Southern Gaming Magazine and their coupons, another great coupon play and well worth the $30 yearly subscription.

What is the strategy for this play? Double twelve?

If you busted with 22 on a $25 DD, would they push the full $50 or only $25?

Actually, that's a really good question, though I guess it assumes there's both a match play and push insurance in the same coupon. Don't know the answer, myself. I thought it was a coupon with no cash value stacked under a $25 max bet, where the coupon would ride and the bets play until the first time the bust-22 occurred.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.
