I'm on the plane, sitting in Newark NJ, waiting to push away from the gate.
And my first gamble was a winner:
I dragged my luggage all the way to the gate without being told its too big for carry on. At the gate they said the overhead bins are full so they out it underneath - for FREE! Woo hoo!

45 minutes until take off. And what is up with my right shoulder? My last 2 security checkpoints required it to be patted down.
