Betting Bad is a non-cash betting site, betting on the outcome of the AMC series Breaking Bad.

They have a 9 minute recap of the series (really well done), and you place your bets on who rats, who kills whom, who goes into the witness protection program, and on scene and prop usage and McGuffins, etc.

Lot of fun.

A bit overdone. The writers have done a good job
in making us root for Walt, and then making us hate
his guts like we do now. It started in season 2 when
he sat there and watched that young girl choke to
death on her own vomit. He could have easily saved
her. So Walt has to die, we know that much. He'll
either get cancer again and off himself in a shootout
with the cartel, or Pinkman will murder him for poisoning
his girlfriends kid. Either way Walter is done. I vote for
Pinkman gunning his ass down.

Killing off Mike was a big mistake, he's the most interesting
character. I hate the Skyler White character so much I
almost can't stand to watch her scenes. And the handicapped
kid. Couldn't they find a kid with a handicap who could act?
He's painful to watch, he's an awful actor.

I think the show is supposed to emphasize realism at all times thus: teen age girls drown in their own vomit; little kids riding their bikes in the desert who come upon a crime scene don't become witnesses, they become corpses, women who one night work on a special cleaning project underground, don't ever get seen past the next day.

I agree that Mike was the best character. Now it's just hope for some good "Better Call Saul" moments in the final episodes. Not sure if a spin-off would fly ( http://www.deadline.com/2013/04/breaking-bad-spinoff-series-bob-odenkirk-saul-goodman-amc/ ), but I'd watch.

I applaud them for getting an actual handicapped actor. Able-bodied actors tend to overdo it when playing the handicapped.

There are lots of fine handicapped actors, they could have got a good one.
And the sister being a shoplifter, who cares. it added nothing to the storyline.

Yes, but normal people don't sit there and watch
them do it. All you have to do is roll them over and
they're fine. Thats the point in the series I started
rooting against Walt. I really
wish they hadn't killed Gus, it would have been great
for him and Walt to kill each other in the final episode.
When the tall Black guy who never talks zapped Walt
with a cattle prod, I was cheering. When he zapped him
again on the ground I laughed out loud.

But all the bad guys are gone now, the first part
of the last season sucked. There was nobody for Walt
to play off of. The DEA? Who cares.

God it hurts to agree with Bob but you are right. They really shoulda cast his family different....but then again, the whole point of the show is that you can't like any of the characters. I think that Walt is going to have to be caught by Hank though....

Dying by Hank's hand would be an awful ending.
I'd rather see Walt live and prosper like Tony
Soprano than have lame ass Hank blow him away.

Best line was the final line: "If thats true that you don't
know who I really am, perhaps the best course is to tread
lightly." I actually laughed out loud at Walt's hubris.
