Standing around waiting for a blackjack seat and see a table with 2 empty spots, but chips are on the felt. The 2 guys show up with more chips as they come back from playing baccarat. They play through 2 shoes and then say they will be back later, leaving a small amount of chips on the felt. All they did was walk over and sit down at 3cp where they evidently had left chips at already also. (others were standing around still waiting for a seat)

Taking a break to go eat, smoke, etc, is one thing, but leaving to go play 3cp, baccarat or another game and still saving a seat for themselves for later is just not right. People standing around and waiting for a lower minimum blackjack game and some people do this. :(

Just my pet peeve of the day, lol.

The casinos in my state, while stopping short of forbidding it, highly discourage leaving unattended chips at the table and it is very rare for someone do it. Seats are saved for 20 minutes with a plastic lammer that is used to separate the chips in the tray. You cannot save a seat and play elsewhere. If you are seen playing at another table the lammer immediately comes down.

This is pretty much how we handle it where I work.

Unless of course it's "Asians" at bacc, and they can do whatever they please... at least according to Bob.

Shoot, Wheeling Island Hotel, Casino, Racetrack will not even allow a player to actively play two games at once. If you are standing at Craps facing away from the cage, the rightmost Craps Table is at a 90 degree angle to the right-most Roulette Table, so they are effectively right next to one another. On one occasion, when a shooter was on about a twenty roll, I made a joke saying, "Well, looks like my bet (Pass w/Odds) won't be getting resolved for awhile, I'm going to go watch the ball spin, let me know when something happens."

I went over to the Roulette Table, and again, I was just being silly, but they took me seriously, stopped me immediately, and said, "You cannot play two games at the same time!!!"

Most Indian casinos will remove your bet if
they see you're playing 2 roulette tables at
once. Yet in Vegas I saw it all the time. Shrug.
