I notice that this one says "Caesars Entertainment" instead of Park Place, so it must be from 2003 or later but before the Harrah's purchase. I still think it's interesting to have the whole chain listed on the back and a single property highlighted on the front. The difference in account numbers could be related either to the change from Park Place to Caesars or the possibility they really had separate accounts for each property.

For several years after the consolidation of ownership of many the casinos each did indeed keep their own card. You could accomadate points at the sister casinos but for a short time comps were only available at the issuing cards casino. That odd situtation didn't last all that long but I can't remember the time line. I likely have some similar cards around and will check if I don't need to leave town for a day trip today.

On a side note, what was that "Players' Club Gold Card" that Telly Savalas did the commercials for back in the '80s?

Wasn't that for American Express?

No, not American Express. Apparently a company that didn't make it.

Here is a link to a Youtube clip of one of the commercials.

I dug a little (not much) and found this link to an article about the company and Savalas's connection as a pitch man.

Sorry for distracting this thread.

I do recall the Dinner's Club credit card. For a while in the 70s it was really big. My parents didn't like it for some reason.

The back of the card pointing out a $25 minimum for table game ratings...ouch. This flea would def be shut out. I think my largest table game wager ever has only been $20...lol

This is a pretty sweet idea! I'm jealous of some of your "discontinued" cards, either from dead casinos or casinos which have been bought since you had the card. That Bellagio card is cool for sure.

I doubt I'll have any Vegas cards that nobody else has, but I'll contribute a few of my local ones maybe. Also, I believe I have a card from the casino in Prague I played at. I also have a 50Kč chip, but I can't post it in the Chip of the Day thread until a long, long time from now :)
