Does anyone have any info on Aliante leaving the station family? In addition to my monthly stations mailer, I received a separate mailer for November from Alainte Hotel and Casino (note, no mention of station). On the front page of the mailer, is an invite to transfer my status to the new Aliante players club. I also noticed that my weekly email from Stations promoting saturday as bonus day, which it always is, list 16 stations properties at the bottom, with Aliante now missing from the list. Have I missed some news about Aliante leaving the station family?

Yes, Aliante is leaving the Stations family, effective 11/1/12. They will not be affiliated with Stations in any way, corporately or marketing-wise. So any Stations comps/offers/points you want to use at Aliante, do it in the next 6 days...
This proliferation of bonus points days seems very, very good for the players...

My November offer from Aliente Hotel & Casino is the same as my offer from Stations. It's not a whole lot, but it'll be pretty sweet if this keeps going.

Yes, another players club of the same or better caliber than Boarding Pass cannot be bad for the players.Quote: rdw4potusMy November offer from Aliente Hotel & Casino is the same as my offer from Stations. It's not a whole lot, but it'll be pretty sweet if this keeps going.

Ok, I did find an article, several moths old, that says stations contract to manage Alainte expires on 10/31/12. I did not know that Alainte was only managed by stations and was not part of the station family. Thanx for confirming Teddy.

I read that as of November 1st you will no longer be able to use your Station's Boarding Pass card at Alliante anymore. Your points and comps will still be available at other Stations properties.

I saw it on the LV Advice board. I then reported about it in the Chip Of The Day thread, since they'll probably be getting new chips.
FYI: The original poster in that thread works in their player's club.

I invented a few casino games. Info:

Alliante was no different than Red Rock or Green Valley. When Station's began building better casinos in the last decade they took on an ownership partner, the Greenspun Corporation. When Station declared bankruptcy in 2009 their debt on the property was 7 to 9 times it's liquidation value. Station casinos had to hand over ownership to banks who hired them back to manage the casino. It is that contract which is expiring.

I haven't managed to get up there yet. What's the deal on the new slot club? Since they just did a 10X points on Thursday I figure it can't be .3% like Stations was.
