The only thing that I can think of that may have reduced the ratio is that they either cut comps significantly or deciding to play some baccarat at about 1/2 my average bet of blackjack while playing with a friend brought my average overall bet amount down enough to impact comps? I only played Baccarat for about 30 minutes though and wouldn't have expected it to affect anything that substantially.
I was told the same as 1bb .14,so based on your numbers you should have about a 1500 to 1700 average bet, does this sound right?Quote: BostonBlackJackDoes anyone happen to know if Mohegan Sun has changed the comp ratio lately? My comps for about 4 hours of play last month was roughly 800-1000 each 4 hour session of Blackjack, and now seems to be a little less than half of that. My average bet for blackjack hasn't changed.

Do they use that ratio separately per session or could playing another table game periodically at a lower average bet impact comp rate? I typically play 2 spots at about 1000-1500/hand. I wonder if sometimes they're not doubling the average bet to account for 2 hands.
You can be unknowingly closed out after taking a break, after a change of cards and definitely at a shift change. If any of these occur tell the floor you are back and watch them put you back in. It is very frustrating when the player has to constantly monitor something that should be done by the floor. That's one reason why I don't play the comp game.
I don't know enough to answer your last question but I have seen many players decline to give their card when they have tapped out and are killing time at table minimum. They believe that will lower their rating.
Quote: 1BBThis casino is notorious for recording the first bet and then forgetting about it. Unfortunately many of the floors are too busy or too lazy to reflect any bet increase. You must constantly keep after them but then you risk upsetting them and defeating the purpose.
In some circumstances, this can work to your advantage. ;)

Yes, it's great for back counters.
Quote: 1BBYour Mohegan Sun Players Club card is now accepted at their Connecticut and Pennsylvania casinos as well as Resorts in Atlantic City.
AFAIK, you can use your points; but that's about the extent of it. So, if you have $1,000 comp-dollars at Mohegan-CT, you can use those at Resorts for F&B and other purchases.
No reciprocal lounge, point earning etc. I'm sort of fine with that, since allowing Resorts (EPIC etc.) cardholders access to lounge/rooms at Mohegan-CT would be a major "loop-hole," since status is much easier (to obtain) at Resorts. Not to mention, that in it's current state I would never consider staying at Resorts in AC.
Quote: 1BBAw, Resorts isn't that bad if it's free. I'm going to be in Jersey this weekend and may take them up on a room. My wife's penny slots get her quite a bit there.
I have a strict no rooming policy at Resorts/Tropicana/Trump Plaza. :-)
My preference is Borgata.

Have you been to Revel?

Yes, quite a few times. And, I prefer Borgata for approximately 5 reasons.
The property that surprised me most, of recent, was Golden Nugget.
