Read that all BJ in PA were the same (ie: S17) and it was better than Atlantic city.
so where's the closest PA casino to Brooklyn? (ie: Verrazono bridge)
and how is it?

actually I figured it had to be either Sands Bethlehem or Parx, so I just put the bridge as the starting point and tried each, and Parx came out about 8 minutes or so less.

Parx is slightly closer but I would go to Sands Bethlehem just to avoid the tolls on the NJT.
Parx=80 miles, 1.5 hours.
Sands=87 miles, 1.66 hours.
Atlantic City is further than both of them.
I'm almost certain there are daily buses from Brooklyn Chinatown to Sands Beth.

Sands Bethlehem has only $1 toll (round trip) to cross the cross the Delaware river after you cross the Outerbridge from Staten Island to NJ . So it is a much cheaper drive. It is usually faster because much of I78 is through a rural area.
From Bensonhurst there is a bus service to Sands (90 miles). It is always cheaper to come on the bus, because they re-imburse the fare + $5 in free slot play.
