Two plastic bags of money fell from an unlatched door on an armored truck and spilled onto interstate 207 in Maryland on March 23rd. This caused hazardous conditions for motorists with money fluttering around like snow flakes. Reports said there were plenty of good samaritans who stopped their cars to volunteer to clean up the mess. The good samaritans worked quickly and swiftly, and traffic was back to normal in no time at all. No injuries were reported.

Try again... no interstate route 207... no Maryland State Route 207... no US 207.
Some people need to reimagine their thinking.

Interstate 270... runs from the Beltway and is in some places twelve lanes wide.
Usually if a door springs open, only intact locked bags of currency might fall out though coins are often spewed.
These events are rare and often humorous such as the woman who collected a skirtful of quarters and then went home to alert her boyfriend as she went back for more quarters. She later complained to police that her boyfriend took "her" quarters and left her. Police made two arrests.
