I need to figure out how to load a screenshot on here.

I have one screenshot where I got up to $100,000+ on Let It Ride. I was running hot, and could have done better, but I was working a system (after many failed attempts to reach 100k) and was tired of having to click +10/-10 dozens of times between bets.

I have another for Roulette where eight results went:

32, 00, 16, 32, 16, 16, 16, 32

Three Sixteens in a Row:

1/38 * 1/38 * 1/38

0.00001822423094 or

1:54,872

Eight Results, Only 00, 16 or 32:

3/38 * 3/38 * 3/38 * 3/38 * 3/38 * 3/38 * 3/38 * 3/38

0.00000000150904 or

1:662,672,958

Four Sixteens in Five Attempts:

1/38 * 1/38 * 1/38 * 1/38 * 5

0.00000239792512 or

1:417027

Seven 32's or 16's in Eight Attempts:

2/38*2/38*2/38*2/38*2/38*2/38*2/38*8

0.00000000894983 or

1:111,733,966

Six 32's or 16's in a row

2/38*2/38*2/38*2/38*2/38*2/38

0.00000002125585 or

1:47,045,872

This was about five minutes before I started typing this post. I have it as a Word Doc right now (and Let It Ride) if anyone wants it E-Mailed.

Can we get this wheel checked?

You need the image hosted somewhere on the internet (lots of free hosting choices out there, just Google), and then use the [ img ] tag. Check the "Click here for formatting codes" link under the text box you type your reply into for more details on the img tag.

Huh. I came here all ready to say "normal variance", but, just to make sure that I had something behind what I said, I played that wheel a little and got myself some sixteens, too:

Things I noticed:
- The Roulette game is Flash. Most of Wizard's games are Java.
- The "Rebet" button sometimes didn't seem to work right. Possibly I was hitting it too quickly (it is not immediately clear when you can place bets again).
- The wheel can be spun without placing any bets at all (unlike online casinos).
- The wheel has a list of known bugs (e.g., straight bets on zero push if zero wins) listed on the page.
- Double-zero Roulette doesn't provide any obvious way to elegantly bet on sections of the wheel. I already knew that, but it strikes me every time I play.

I'm still not ready to say that the wheel is bugged, but that after just a dozen or so spins I appeared to be reproducing your results. Probably not enough spins to be statistically significant, though.

Not to hijack the thread, but I've had a question about the Wizard's games that's been bothering me for a while. Considering that the Wizard's Pai Gow tiles game works perfectly (as far as I can tell), why does no online casino offer tiles? I've yet to find one that does. Any ideas why?

I think it's definitely just normal variance, or abnormal variance, in this case. Even if the game has some other minor quirks, an RNG is an RNG, in my estimation. It was pretty cool to pull out such an unlikely set of results.

I noticed that about the rebet button. You have to wait a couple seconds and then click on it twice.

I think that the wheel can be spun without bets because WOO is never a gambling site. The others sites couldn't offer that on, "Play for fun," if they did not also offer that on the real deal. The games must be identical.

This one was just good enough to post. I really had to think about it, but yeah, 1:4,164 isn't bad.

...Wizard's Pai Gow tiles game...why does no online casino offer tiles?...

I'm guessing because developing a house way is quite difficult (i.e. costly) compared with other games and you can use perfect strategy. However the same logic would apply to Pai Gow cards, although personally I found it easier to program the card version house way than tiles - so I'm not sure.

it could also be lack of demand, not exactly the most popular game.
and the traditional way of playing is to feel the tiles to determine their value before you look at them.

It's a Hell of a fun game! I have not yet played it in a casino (this one sure doesn't have it), but I probably like it even more than Let It Ride. I'm getting much better, as well, WoO says I am not making the best play only about 1:15 hands now, and even then, I am still at least doing what the house would do.

yes it is a great game. i like all of the asian games,
mainly because the players control the pace
and there is nothing that the house can do about it...lol.
i hope when you are playing and you have a question,
or if it is a close decision that you use the tiles calculator,
it is a great resource.
