My travel advice:

If your destination is supported - Use Google Maps Street View to preview your destination if you're never been there.

The Strip is pretty straightforward - but with your mouse and computer you can travel from your destination to other areas in the city which you will then recognize. You can pick out places, restaurants you want to stop -- you get a much better idea if something is close or really far.

But I recommend it for non-Vegas places too where you can use it.

Street view requires knowing to hold down your mouse to rotate in 360 direction and pointing at circle in road to move forward. That's 95 percent of mastering it.

No I don't work for Googe. I'd recommend anything similar too that's out there. A controlled moving picture is worth 10,000 words?

Also a great way to check out the neighborhood if you're looking at real estate listings online.

What's interesting is that the view from the South Pole ought to indicate that every other direction is North... but does it?
