when playing a bonus round on a slot machine i.e the quick hits bonus round- when you are selecting a prize square is the amount predetermined no matter which box you pick or does the one you select make a difference?
The bet will not be paid- not now not ever

My understanding has always been that it's constantly shuffling until the moment you select a box, so timing would have as much to do with actual selection. Either way you look at it it's random.

I have no proof of this, but I have been told by someone who plays the machines even more than I do that it shuffles until you select your first box, at which point all boxes stay the same for the duration of the picks. This goes with UWPeteO's statements, and it makes sense because it shows the results of the boxes you didn't pick at the end on some of the machines. I don't think it would be legal for it to do that if they weren't, at some point, fixed.
