Quote: GWAEWait, is that the place with the cheap ass snack bar in the back left? If so then where I gonna get my cheap good now?
You used to eat there GWAE? That HAS to be a negative EV play! :)
Hmmm. For long time patrons of the 'establishments' this could be very bad news.Quote: beachbumbabshttp://www.reviewjournal.com/business/d-las-vegas-owners-plan-new-hotel-casino-fremont-street
On the brighter side, though the entrenched Southern Baptists have once again stalled any progress on bringing casino gambling to Atlanta, the topless entertainment industry is flourishing. I'm not sure if we have mermaids or not, I should become a more involved citizen. Regular topless ladies, maybe even ones with fish tails, should consider Atlanta as a possible alternative employment location. The guys still tip, and now they let them drink on Sunday! Anyone needing a referral is welcome to PM me for additional info. I suggest Pics be included, fishtailed or not ;-)

Well, the Downtown Grand's experiment (?) we saw during the 2016 Spring Fling seems like a good start -- if only they promoted it. I'm talking about offering a no-vig buy bet on the 4 and 10. We weren't aware of it at all until placing the wagers, not getting charged, and getting full payouts. The dealer said that was the way they are operating now, but he didn't know whether it would be like that next month. Sure seems to me that if they are going to do it, there should be some posting at the table and probably some ad either on the entrance or in the local media. Of course, if they do try to promote craps, they're going to have to offer more than the one table they had staffed the Friday night that we were there!
My only AP plays before that were Flush Attacks.
Yep, just a bare side of a building with nice awnings, a few posters, and a sidewalk.
So what's that spot on the wall, a bit to the right of the "Devour this..." sign and even with the bottom of it?
So if you pushed that button, just what is supposed to open?

It's basically a carnival midway without most of the kiddie rides.
Quote: DocOf slight relevance to Mermaids, since it specifically relates to the currently-shuttered Las Vegas Club, I saw something that caught my attention enough to warrant pulling out the cell phone camera. Take a look at these views of the northwest side of the building, facing Main Street:

Hehe, that's awesome! I imagine that if you push it, all the lights on the strip go off.

Trivia!: La Bayou sits on the location of the "Northern Club". In 1931, the Northern Club was the first joint licensed for gambling in Las Vegas.
I think the brick exterior is still visible:
