Rampart has a couple banks of 10-play 5c and 10c VP machines with 99.73% NSU, 99.94% Super Aces, and 99.58% Triple-Double Bonus.

They have all been eligible for 2X points (.5%) on Wednesdays.

The new management has expanded 2X points on Wednesdays to 3X on slots/2X on VP on Sundays and Wednesdays.

These 10-play machines are now, unfortunately, excluded.

Well, so much for my prediction that the Terrible's takeover would lead to better things for the player. Let the crapslide begin...

It's kind of a mixed response. In the past the Rampart typically only had 2x points once per week and only on week day's. Very rarely on a weekend day. So the fact that they made it twice a week is better and a weekend day better yet.

Hey Quad did you get a mailer for April? I did not, first time in 8 years.

No, but my free play was on the machine yesterday. The slot club attendant made some noise about them being late.

It also sounded like the days of the week for free play were restricted unlike before but I didn't write down what she said.

I stopped in today to see how things were working and I got 2X points on the 10-play NSU machine so maybe they had a change of heart.

I verified I was getting double points at the club booth, but I didn't ask specifically if there was a change in policy just in case it's really a mistake. :)

I also received my mailer. There was a note on it about mailers being sent to the wrong address or something.

My free play can be downloaded any day except Sundays.

10-play 5c/10c machines were giving 2X points today (Sunday), too. Guess it was a false alarm.

I went yesterday and found nothing that was not giving 2x points. So far I have not seen anything negative about the switch. Interesting thing I heard from a bartender. In the high limit room they had a 1$ slot that had a progressive above 175k. It had not been hit in years. On the last day prior to the switchover it hit. Thought that was rather coincidental.

Had it just been that first day, I wouldn't have said anything but the slot floor op told me those two specific banks of machines had been singled out. Glad it was misinformation or was changed back.
