Hey All,
Just got back from my trip. Stayed at Planet Hollywood. It was my first time staying there. I arrived at 6:30, Monday evening no lines got right in. I had a room with two queen beds it was a lounge suite. It was large and clean but dated. The theme of my room was the Sister Act Movie as it had a number of articles from the movie including the nun costume that Whoopie wore in a glass case hanging next to my bed. Everyone there was friendly. The casino was freindly but to loud in the morning. I would go over and play at the Bellagio in the AM. They had lousy games in the party pit but the entertainment was good. They had better games outside the pit where you could play and still get an eyefull albeit not as close up. They have been removing my favorite video keno games a little at a time since Ceasar's took it over. They are now gone. They still have a bank of full pay machines but they have the newer program in them and they never pattern up. I will probably will take my play elsewhere. They had the typical 6/5 single deck game for $5 that the suckers play. They did have $5 craps and UTH as well as others. The craps tables were usually packed so I did not play there.
I watched a couple big players rake, I am guessing around $100,000 off the craps table at the Bellagio That was fun to watch. I did not play much there this trip but it is one of my favorite places to play.
The new Margaritville Casino was fun. They had a nice 12 ft craps table that I had to myself one morning. After the dice experiment I did I was curious to see how I would fare being able to bet just on my own rolls. I held my own but could not duplicate the home results. I did find that buying the 10 was very profitable for me as I did roll it alot. I did $44 inside and that was a mistake, had I just placed the 6 & 8 I believe I would have been further ahead as I never had any really long rolls. I played roughly an hour and ended up $20 ahead. The Black Jack there was an 8 deck game. 3-2, DAS, H17, Dbl any two. no surrender (I think) The first night they only cut out 1 deck so it was a good game to count. The next day they cut out 2 decks so it was not worth the effort. The 3rd day roughly 1 1/2 decks were cut out. All in all it was a fun place to play the dealers and pit were very friendly and the cocktail waitresses were very easy on the eyes in their turquoise bikinis. I sat next to two guys playing BJ both were betting anywhere from $200 to $500 a hand. Both were not playing anything close to Basic Strategy and of course both were winning. I on the other hand was holding my own playing properly but not making any money compared to them. The one guy whom was on his 4th or 5th Crown Royal was busy trying to talk the waitresses into a 3 way which they were tolerating because he was tipping $25 per drink. He actually was pretty tactful about it and it was pretty dam funny. I wished him success when I left.
The other interesting place I played was the Golden Gate. I hit a nice keno jackpot there. The Black Jack was different. They had $5 games. They had shoe and CSM. The rules 3-2, H17, DAS, DBL any 2 and surrender. The shoe game had 8 decks but they cut out 4 decks. But it is still the Golden Gate and it is still a fun place to play. They also had a $5 craps table which is to long for my liking but we had fun and no damage ws done either way. The weird thing was I walked out onto Fremont street at about 12:30 on Wednesday night it was empty and I mean empty. except for my group and a drunk who wanted bus fare. I have never been downtown there when it was that empty that early. I did not play anywhere else downtown.

I have been wondering if there are any playable BJ games in the various party pits. I'm guessing not, but I'll have to investigate for myself on my next trip, of course :)
Just some friendly advice: a few paragraph breaks would make your post much easier to read.

I know I must be doing something wrong as I indented for the paragraph in the preview but it did not come out that way. Also I heard the Playboy Bunny Party Pit at the Palms has good rules but I do not know the minimum or if this infom is in fact accurate.

Quite coincidentally there is a fresh thread on the subject of indentation and the internet.
