$20 tipped my Hip room into a Resort room. I thought it was well worth the upgrade. The room was very spacious, clean, with a very large and well-appointed bathroom. Our window actually ran the length of our room, so it was especially well-lit. (That also meant the TV was on the side of the room, instead of directly in front of the bed, but that doesn't really matter)

There are two pools, one caters to a younger crowd, and another one for families. The deck area was very spacious.

We spoke with a host at the end of our stay, and got one of our nights comped for some light - moderate play ( $10 hand UTH, Crazy 4 poker. )

I felt the hotel was great value, especially if you can get a room for ~$60 + resort fees + taxes.

I have a stay booked at PH but this question is more generally about Caesars properties/Vegas hotels in general.

I have a fully comped room (no resort fees because of Diamond card). I have a flight that leaves at 11:30pm. I currently have a reservation that goes until the morning after I leave. I could shorten the reservation and check out at noon or 1pm and leave my stuff with the bell desk for about 10 hours. Or I could keep the room for the day and just leave at 10pm or whenever I head to the airport. That would give me a room to use during the day. Currently I have the room for the “extra” night and I’m debating if there’s any harm in keeping it.

PH will be able to see I last left the room at night instead of the morning. Of course that could be because of any number of reasons. I assume it may theoretically hurt my comps at the margin by using the room for 1 more night than otherwise. But is there any chance of more severe issues—like losing all future hotel offers? I have another trip booked and I’d hate for them to cancel that reservation because I used the room for an “extra” night after I left town. I have to assume people do this all the time. I’ve gone to Vegas many times but it’s only the past few years I’ve had resort fees waived so this became a cost-free option. If it’s relevant, my flight back is on a Saturday night so the “extra” night would be a on a busy night.
If anyone gives you 10,000 to 1 on anything, you take it. If John Mellencamp ever wins an Oscar, I am going to be a very rich dude.

I don't see any issues with keeping the room. I did that all of the time. Caesar's only considers it a gaming day if you actually play that day.
