If I was asked about legendary Vegas casinos, The Palms would be way down on the list. Ghost Bar was great in its day, and the Playboy Club was hot for a moment, but I've never thought of the Palms as much more than an Orleans class casino with a tinge of MTV thrown in.
The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction is supposed to make sense.

I agree, to me Palms was the MTV casino. They did have some really great AP opportunities many years ago. Their coupons for getting paid double on four of a kinds was legendary.
